2 more builds completed. The MG Qubeley and the Gundam Base MG Hyaku Shiki mechanical core plated

I feel that both of these kits need an action base, the Qubeley especially. As much as it takes up a bunch of space, it does not look that good with a standing pose and the age of the kit really shows. I also feel that the HS also needs an action base to fully show off its gold.

I usually don’t like clear kits since to me they look very messy, but the plating on the underside of the clear plastic is something that 100% makes the clear plastic benefits worth it. The dry transfers that it comes with also look stunning as they almost get a doubled affect from them reflecting off the underside plating.

Finished up two more gunpla in the last couple of weeks. The qubeley (white one) definitely shows its age… 25 years old. The build was much more simple in complexity compared to other, much newer master grades. It also doesn’t have a stand adapter and I have thrown out all of the extra adapters that my stands have come with the model kits usually have their own (not that the manual for the qubeley said which one to use anyway)

The turn-x (green) was a much more enjoyable build. It has a good amount of panel lines and dry transfer decals! The way it’s designed to separate also made it much easier to apply the decals once it was complete.

My wife and I have the worst luck with the jjk cat ear plushies. My wife has been wanting to get the geto one but we have pulled 5 of the nanami ones instead.
