I have to say that since Puffy left the Pufflander trail, I’ve taken her written words and assessed them with a grain of salt. She does have a tendency create a thesis and say very little. But this does have some actual logic behind the words. I’m always amazed at how many typed words can say so little in the way of content.

I’m sure your original content is thought-provoking and well-informed. That will teach me to come over here to see why a 2 year old post has over 600 views. Bad content.

I’m always amazed at how easily people fall for the first person to offer them information because they’re desperate for content.
Here’s a question some of you need to answer.
If you lock your doors at night, do you expect safety for your efforts, or do you expect your neighbors to break in and go rummaging through your house? If they broke into your house, would you think it perfectly fine that they shared what they found while rummaging in your drawers with other people? “Hey, the Johnson’s have unpaid bills, looks like she has a prescription drug problem, and the son left dirty condoms in his bed.”
How about if someone figures out your password and hacks your account and publishes your emails. Is that ok?
Or, if your teenage daughter has a diary filled with musings about her fears and hopes and wishes. Do you frantically look under her bed, close the door and scramble to read every juicy page? After which, do you post her pages on Facebook?
If you’ve found you’re getting trolled on your Instagram account and you lock to stay safe, but the troll remained in your followers and posted your locked images on their own Instagram account? Would that be ok, too?
It’s called breaking and entering. At the most it’s illegal, at the least it’s unethical.
I don’t know what happened to ethics in this community.

I've no idea. I don't even know the story I told is the one puffy is talking about. and honesty I never trusted all the things she said. I don't know why this group stopped selling their shirts. maybe it has nothing to do with Sam or mpc. maybe it does. Idk. i just told what I know.
You don’t have to trust everything I say. I’m totally ok with that. I only say what I know. Sometimes my opinion changes, but I never knowingly put out false information. My story has nothing to do with with MPC. In this fandom, short of my publishing the correspondence from Sam’s attorney, I know there are those who will doubt me. I went into this story knowing full well there would be skeptics. I get that. I’m the fandom’s biggest skeptic.
I didn’t know anything about the MPC problems until someone asked me about it yesterday. The situation about which I’ve written is something I doubt anyone in the fandom knows. I was contacted by someone in the group who reads my blog. She was shaken and upset and wanted a voice. Sometimes people react in the moment and want to scream their truths. Sometimes in the light of day, when cooler heads prevail, they change their minds. For this group, it was more important for them to continue their work than tell the world what happened. They’re deeply invested. Sam’s meltdown caused them to change their minds.
The only reason I shared this story at all was because I was asked to write about it, shared that fact with my readers, owed my readers something at some point, even if it was void of particulars.

Go torment some other fandom, ya old Queen. Mission accomplished with Outlander. Make sure to put us all on your resume. There isn’t a person among us who wouldn’t give you a glowing review for your ability to walk into a fandom and stink up the room. Whatever dysfunction characterized your childhood, you’ve put it on full blast as an adult.
And oh, by the way? About 8 people actually think you are Sam’s friend. The rest of us know you’re a desperate, psyche-damaged fraud. If people actually believed you were friends with Sam, there would be a stampede to your door. People would suck up to a mosquito if they thought it had a free ride on Sam’s earlobe. No one wants you except Purv and Purv’s 5 friends.
You write like an 8th grade schoolgirl texting her best friend about what those mean girls at the other lunch table did. You were better off in the shadows. Writing isn’t your strength. Nor is being a decent human being.
Try to doxx me. I’ve got your number.

Okay so I gave this a little more thought and here’s what I’ve decided to do as my gift to Caitriona on March 31.
Kindness has been a big topic lately, whether we are talking about Caitriona’s tweet or Terry Dresbach’s recent…obsession? Or even how we treat each other on social media. Its a good topic, but rather than sit around and talk about kindness, or post some quotes I would actually like to do some acts of kindness, on behalf of Caitriona.
1. I want everyone to take a pledge of one act of kindness they will do in the next 30 days on behalf of Caitriona, write it on a piece of paper and take a photo with that piece of paper. You can have your face in the photo or you can cut it out if that makes you more comfortable. It can be in any setting, have fun with it!
2. Then please send the photo to [email protected] with your first name, city and state/country (I have a fun map idea in mind).
My goal is to get at 50-100 photos and put them together in a beautiful book for her. Your pledge can be anything, whether its a donation to a charity, a phone call to someone you haven’t talked to in a long time, an unexpected gift or card in the mail to someone, anything big or small! Just promise to do one kind thing for someone else.
But I need the photos by Saturday March 26 so I have time to put the book together.
I decided to go with this gift idea because of Caitriona’s tweet and because I myself have been the recipient of so much kindness lately and it really does change the world for people. I know how much she loved her fanbooks from sweet @sassenach-ts and I think it would be the best way to pay it forward on behalf of our beautiful Caitriona and something she would really appreciate. I think she would be happy to know that she inspired so much kindness.
