#story of seasons#absolutely agree they could've expanded on it more in the games though#i'm convinced animal parade has a theme of loss/mourning and moving on from it#between events such as the ghosts of reina's grandparents & the little bird visiting the graveyard#to even the overarching plot of the harvest tree (and the land) being dead at first before reviving it#a couple of other stories on that site touch upon those themes too
