Once you read about what the US did in Vietnam, you'll never stop wanting to beat every veteran to death with your bare hands. This was not a case of "evil/incompetent US bureaucrats drafting poor innocent soldiers" as the popular narrative has become - the soldiers were not only complicit but actively participated.

I am including excerpts of what the French colonial soldiers did as well as a reminder that this was what the Vietnamese were fighting to liberate themselves from.
