School is starting up again, so this is a post on how to handle all the “back to school” chaos!
Before school starts:
journal
clean your room
prepare your supplies
make plans with friends
set a school year bucket list and goals
plan healthy choices for this year… how will you have access to healthy foods? What will be your exercise? When will you go? How are you going to stay hydrated during the school day?
make playlists for fall, studying, and driving!
create a studyblr
Week one:
start scheduling your time- make time for yourself
make a list of hobbies and work them into your schedule
keep up with your workload, talk to someone new, and get to know your teachers!
journal prompt: who do you want to be this year? What do you want to achieve?
Week two:
journal prompt: how can you handle stress?
clean your home of things you no longer use
do something nice for yourself- a hot bath, buy a nice candle, bake yourself a cake, etc.
make time for friends, family, and pets
try to plan at least one day a month where you can just do nothing and relax, if possible
Week three:
you’re getting back into routine, but don’t fall victim to boredom. Try something new. Discover a new hobby, eat a different style of food, or strike up a conversation with someone you’ve never really talked to much!
look at a world map. Where would you want to go?
ask yourself if you’re doing something that makes you happy every day. Do the people in your life make you happy? Is today setting you up for where you want to be tomorrow?
journal prompt: if you could learn anything in the world, what would it be?
Week four:
Your first month of school is complete! Are you on track to complete your goals as well?
Journal prompt: who are you thankful for this school year?
Plan something fun for yourself, your family, your friends, or even your pets!
Be sure to keep a list of all your exams and assignment due dates. Stay on track.
Mix up how you study. Try using color or reading your rewritten notes back to yourself aloud!
