Hello. My name is Nika.

I'm a first-year college student, majoring in animation. I am an artist, a student, and a bit of a person who believes they can bring their ideas to life.

Drawing for me is a way to say something important when words fail. When an idea is in my head, it has meaning, but once you speak it out loud, it doesn't sound as cool anymore. From the poem "Silentium": "A thought uttered is a lie."

I'm still at the very beginning of my creative path. My characters are learning to walk, my drawings are searching for rhythm, and I am thoughts. There's something to that… Every sketch, every frame, every scene — a step.

I created this blog to share how I grow. Here you'll find my sketches, thoughts about studying, moments of inspiration, and honest mistakes.
