I don't have any skin in the game, and I haven't looked into what is actually happening with this pairing, but if there is no portmanteau for the Darkiplier/K (characters from the Markiplier Cinematic Universe and Blade Runner 2049 played by Mark Fishbach and Ryan Gosling respectively), then I humbly offer up DarkRunner for your consideration. I originally thought of DarkBlade, but that sounds too emo even for these two. Many apologies to anyone actually using DarkBlade as the ship name who I might have offended.

I just saw it mentioned on Markiplier's subreddit and I thought that it sounded like a tumblr thing. It's probably a tumblr thing. The post said the ship had no name, so here's me with a bottle of wine and a strong swinging arm.

That's all. That's the post. I have no idea what K and Darkiplier would even talk about, but fans are creative. There are hundreds of BloodyMary fics and artworks now, so the sandbox is as full of sand, shovels, and buckets as ever!

Did I think 2026 would be the year I start shipping Ryan Gosling’s characters with Markiplier’s? Not at all! But I’m having a blast! I’m very proud of this illustration and I’m wondering if y’all can guess what other movie inspired this? ;)

I’m thinking Simon was a found on Grace and Rocky’s way to Erid. (Simon’s more human look I think, I’d like to design Simon again with him being a bit more mutated)
