Telling your partner they aren’t allowed to speak to or tell any member of their family or friends when you have an argument, even if they’re feeling particularly low about it. But speaking to your own family and friends about the same thing.
Arguing to the point where you partner has a mental break, and instead of trying to help them, continuously pick away at them until they are a shaking mess on the floor, drowning in their own tears and struggling to breath.
Telling your partner your friends / family have said negative things about them, but not telling them what it is they’ve said and leaving them to over think about all the things that possibly could’ve been said.
Taking your anger or bad moods out on your partner and only your partner whilst being decent to everyone else around you including their family and friends, despite them trying to support you as best as they can.
Swearing at or threatening your partner.
Taking advantage of your partners poor mental health, finding weaknesses you know they have and using them against them to the point where they are deteriorating because of you.
I went through all of this is my most recent relationship, and I’m still being made out to be the most terrible awful girlfriend in the world. All the while just trying to help this boy improve who he was. Good luck to the next girl is all I can say.
