ABOUT AURORA
Aurora grew up always getting lost in books, it was the one thing she was always seen doing for a young age. It was how she always knew she wanted to write books. She got that trait from her mom and she was glad about this because her and her mom were very close so following in her footsteps never bothered her. She just enjoyed being immersed in the world of a book and just getting lost in the story. She was more of a fantasy or mystery/thriller reader over romance, although she loved romance books, fantasy was something she got stuck in. The idea of a thriller or mystery made her excited for all of the twists and turns in the book, Reading was her safe place and this was proven during school for her, she would get picked on and bullied and she would choose to read whenever she could to ignore what was going on. It even got bad in high school when a boy started dating her and she fell for him until he started to get popular and broke up with her because she was dragging him down.
Although Aurora loved writing, she had a fond love for photography and will often be seen with her camera in hand. She found this love during college when her roommate and her would go out and explore and she would start taking photos and that is when she became the habit of taking photos of her travels.
When she went to college at PSU she found it comforting because she went to study Creative Writing because she loved the idea of writing her own novels in the future. She enjoyed learning everything that made her writing stronger so she started writing her own fantasy series.
Whilst at college she made a group of friends and for once she didn’t feel judged and she actually had that happiness in her life that she never had before. She cherished them so much they became a second family to her and she was grateful for that. She also met someone who could have been the love of her life as during college they were together everyday and for the four years of college. However when he proposed a year after graduation she had realised she wasn’t ready and just wanted to enjoy her 20s.
Once Aurora finished college, she worked part time at a shop for a bit and wrote her first two books in her series and then continued working on it and published the first two books which came out in 2022 and December 2023, now 10 years after finishing college she is working on the 3rd book of her trilogy to release. Whilst doing this 5 years after graduating a job in the creative writing department came up at PSU and she loved her experience there that she knew she wanted to go back and work there.
Aurora is very family oriented, her family mean the world to her and during her hard times in school they were always there for her and she was always there for them. She would do anything to help her siblings out and she made it clear to them.
FAMILY BACKGROUND
Colin and Nancy were high school sweethearts who broke up before college. They later reunited and got back together after. The pair married just prior to both getting thrust into the spotlight, Colin as an up and coming director and Nancy a model. Over the years, Colin has continued directing, but Nancy turned to being a romance author.
