It's a weird feeling, when you desperately want to talk to someone about something, but you can't tell the people who you want to most in the world, because it involves them, and you don't know the repercussions, and it's not your place to reveal that information. Maybe that's why I want to say it here. On a newly-created Tumblr account a handful of my online friends will ever see. Sorry to be melodramatic, I just have to get it off my chest. The tension is killing me and I'm sick of keeping it all inside. I can't keep up the carefree charade any longer.

Yesterday my phone rang. It was my parents. It was unusual for them to be calling at such a late hour. I answered, expecting it to be my father, but it was my Mum on the line, and she sounded upset. That was weird. I didn't know what was wrong, but it was definitely something.

"Mum? What happened?" I asked. It took her a short while to compose herself.

It took just three words for her to send my world crashing down around me.

He said "Thanks."
