Loki settles in the grass next to her and asks, “Do you want to see the stars? I can show them to you. I can show you any set of stars you like. Vanaheim, Midgard, any place I’ve seen. What would you like to see? If it makes you feel better, I’ll pull out all the stops.” He surprised himself sometimes when around Sigyn.

Her head turns to look at her friend as he speaks and smiles. “I suppose you can surprise me then….” She says, her eyes going back to the sky. “I’m going to miss it here, you know? I still hate that I have to go to home tomorrow.” 

“You do not have to leave. I could kidnap you. It wouldn’t even be your fault.” Loki jokes, waving a hand and casting an illusion of stars across the sky above them, a perfect replica of Vanahiem. “We could hide out in the library and read all day.”

Sigyn chuckled softly at his suggestion and lightly shook her head. “While the idea is tempting, we’d never get away with it and you know that.” She said, gently taking his hand in hers. “Promise me you’ll write?” 

“I will. As often as I can. I’ll miss you, Sigyn. I’ll miss you so very much. I hope you can come back. When you’re not here, I have to spend a lot more time with Thor. Which is not my idea of enjoyment.” He squeezed her hand gently, looking at her with a gentle smile.
