Hi, i hope this isn't rude to ask but i need clarification on microlabels and xenogenders. I'm a binary trans guy and an artist, and one of my characters is a cis gay man. I believe he perceives himself as cis and i want to keep it that way, but also he seems to fully fit the profile of someone who could experience gender through microlabels. His story takes place in the mid 2010s, so around the time xenogenders got really big. My question is, can someone ID as cisgender but also identify with and use xenogenders ? I assume yes since gender is made up and rules are for suckers, but i still want to hear from someone who's got specific experience in this.

Dude… of course he can use xenogenders&micro labels… They’re For EVERYONE! I Have an OC who uses Neopronouns & He’s a Cisgender Man!

I think that gender is complex and so is personal expression. Personally I’d say go for it, since anyone can use xenogenders and micro labels—at least mine anyway. I Think 💭 It Would Be Cool to See It. I Wouldn’t Mind the Cis Guy using sparklecatgender.
