Today, after a black man was held down, shot at close range and murdered, and we’re told he would have been safe if only he hadn’t been armed.

Because Vans Warped Tour is approaching!

Keeping It Simple & Common Courtesy. 

Move out of the way - I’m not talking about when someone is trying to cut you out in the crowd. I’m speaking about when someone is saying “I’m about to pass out/throw up!”. Make a pathway for them to exit the crowd or get to an open area. 

Help people out - Warped tour is brutal and hot, enough said. At Warped you’re also basically a “family” so to speak. People are going to pass out or suffer from heat exhaustion. Help them out by calling over a medic, fanning them air, or allowing them to exit the crowd. Also, if someone gets injured in a moshpit, help them! (My mom carried a guy who split his face open during CTE’s set to medics.) Common courtesy. 

Stay hydrated - Bring water and drink it! Some venues have restrictions of how many bottles you can bring so bring extra money to purchase water, slushies, and gatorade/powerade. (All of those are usually $3-$5)

Take breaks - Warped Tour can be brutally tiring so take breaks. If your venue has an amphitheater, take breaks there on your “down time”. Warped also has shade tents available. (Breaks come in handy, my first year at Warped consisted many of those. Haha)

Have fun - That’s the whole reason you’re at warped! To listen to your favorite bands, maybe meet them, and most importantly have fun!
