luke dale (hans capon’s actor) is Incredibly active in the fandom to a detrimental degree, while he may seem charming at first, please be cautious with interacting with him.

he’s been a creep to multiple ppl i know within the fandom (unwanted flirting, sending DMs, etc), has stolen fanart for merch, and went in on NFTs, to name some of the bigger things.

given his active state in the fandom (he’s active everywhere but tumblr, usually has his social related to Lord Hans Capon or something like that bc he has no personality or career outside of this one character) please don’t be taken in by him following/commenting/messaging you. he’s proven he can’t be trusted to be Normal around people, whether it’s with boundaries or the things they create. it doesn’t even just apply to things he’s tagged in either, he’s constantly name-searching everything related to himself or hans and interacting with it.

most importantly (/j) he is cringe nft/crypto bro and there is ample evidence of that at least. so enjoy!

i’ve also heard at least one credible account of him being a bit weird in-person with coming onto a woman who had to refuse his flirtations several times, physically push him away, and mention having a boyfriend before he backed off but “was here if she changed her mind”. that is an INCREDIBLY weird way to interact with a woman, let alone a fan.

i’m not calling luke a sexual predator. i’m not even claiming he’s a sexual harasser, though obviously he’s leaning into behavior that has made people very uncomfortable both in-person and online. i’m sorry i don’t have Screenshots™ but as someone involved with the KCD fandom, with many people who’ve been here since the very beginning, i can tell you there’s good reasons behind not liking him lol.
