So far I've watched Clearday Return and Shared Lantern. Sylus's card is cute but tbh I'm not into this distant, cold, nonchalant version of him. He does come around to MC early on and just acts very subtle about it, but dude does not behave like he found his soulmate again and I just can't fuck with it. I definitely got the impression that if MC didn't immediately thirst after him he wouldn't have given a shit 😭. Cute ending and all but I don't actually enjoy him being indifferent to MC and nonchalant, he needed to be more chalant.

I enjoyed Caleb's card as another view on their relationship. The same way Imperial Thronesong Caleb had a certain security in their relationship because they were blood siblings in that card, Caleb in this card seems less anxious about MC needing him because he's in a caretaker role for her. Granted, after reading fan translations of key lines in the card and event it does seem they're already siblings of a kind in this card, but his role as doctor/caretaker gives him the security to push MC away knowing she needs time to figure out the real nature of her feelings.

It is very funny they're still pulling weird shit with the English localization to smudge the nature of their relationship but they still include sibling parallels in the card and event story, and the very end of the card still alludes to them having grown up together in the same house (something MC can't remember since she confused as to why Caleb chose to protect her specifically).

Not to contaminate Tumblr with the dumb shit from the corner of fandom on Xwitter but I'm baffled people get mad about LIs tropes overlapping/LI's 'stealing' storylines or motifs from other LIs. Which is also why I push back on the fan myth that there are separate teams to develop each LI's story that's just pure nonsense the kpop stan side of the fandom clings to in order to fuel shit like this.

Honestly if they gave us a multibanner where every guy was a vampire, had wings, or was our brother I'd go for it 😭 I really don't see the issue. They have different personalities, sharing some of the trappings of another LI really isn't that big of a deal.

Sylus is so based and wifepilled I love that for us

It's very funny that Infold clearly did figure out a sensible way to implement placing furniture and housing items but they just chose to not do it right for InfinityNikki, the open world game with a fan base that anticipated the housing feature, and instead put it in LADS when nobody expected or demanded it 😭

Despite the absolute dogshit Infold pulled with Xavier's Darknight companion, I still feel vindicated in getting it because his outfit and MC's outfit are perfect for both wedding and galactic empire photo shoots. I have Sylus's and Caleb's wedding suits, Rafayel already has excellent formal wear, and eventually I'll get Zayne a good suit from the shop so I feel like I have my bases covered even before a new memory from the multi banner.

#Both of the Darknight Companion dresses are great for wedding shoots I love them more than any of the real wedding dresses

Unfortunately I will be sat for the star wars multi-banner 😭 I just know they're going to shove all the outfits into the lunar shop even though we haven't had shit added to the chocolate shop in forever 😔

The available fanfic for LADS is really really bad in terms of all the grammatical errors and flat out incorrect vocabulary but I'm honestly more upset about seeing fics from no fewer than three separate authors that use the term 'gummy walls' to refer to a vagina...

Eventually I'm going to watch all of the memories for every guy on YouTube so I can be up to date on the Lore (tm) but I'm game I like to keep the four star dates for my non mains in my pocket for a rainy day. I have so many Zayne and Xavier dates to catch up on and I'm hoping there's not too much early/growing pain voice direction in the dates.

I see a lot of recognition that Sylus isn't so much dominant as he is happy to let MC dominate him (and he's especially not like a booktok mafia Dom despite being a crime lord lol) but I do think the "seeing your desires" ability from the Aether Core in his eye would make him quite comfortable with taking a dominant role himself. Like if he was able to see the desire for him that way through that ability (which I still don't fully get it seems almost analogous to mind reading) I think he'd be very much on board with it after that even if he wasn't before.

I also think people downplay just how dominant he acts during his intruduction in the main story because he does back off eventually - he's not shy about getting in MC's personal space and seems to enjoy making her flustered! So I don't think the dominant thing is as far off from his character as some people think - he just recognized it as a ho scaring tendency after the one scene with the old protocore alteration guy.

The protocore eye ability thing is also why I think he's uniquely qualified to handle being the third in a Caleb/MC/ other guy sandwich. Like even if he suggested it, I think Caleb would be uncomfortable with sharing MC with anybody else (at least at first). Sylus being able to accurately gauge what both Caleb and MC want most and having the tact to back off means that could be a stable configuration long term.

I like the teaser for the LADS new beach banner. I don't really get people jumping to conclusions about the cards being 'spicy' or not based on it it's literally just a few still images but I think it'll be fun. Getting to see the guys doing hot guy beach activities is fun and cool, and I think it lends itself well to event cutscenes and mini games.

I started playing way after the cat butler banner but it's criminal we don't have cat butler Caleb. That man would be so freaked out it's not even funny. I know all the dudes have crazy cutscenes when you pet them but this dude moans for no reason on a good day he would be insufferable with the cat ears 😭 He would 100% want to be MC's housepet and wouldn't give a fuck about changing back.
