Guardian Deity

-Silvermoon dodge the eyebeams. She does get hit a few time. She keeps at it. She does get better. She dodge more then she gets hit. She moves fast in the air as she dodge the eyebeams.-

«Good, good! Now let's see how you do when you have less room to maneuver!» Shiisa weakened the beams even more so he could fire them in larger quantities, filling the air with the energy projectiles.

The sights and sounds of the arrival infuriated the beast more. How dare this thing try and interrupt what was his? With a deafening roar, it charged towards it, ramming it’s shoulder into the golem.

Skidding backwards, he grabbed onto his opponent and began pushing against it, attempting to drive it back into the sea so the fighting would risk minimal damage.

The beast could feel itself being pushed back slowly towards the water, something that it couldn’t allow. Clawed hands dug into the guardian’s body, and it began to push back.

Being unable to feel pain meant less time trying not to agitate a wound and more time protecting humanity. That said, the claws being dug in didn't faze Shiisa, not in the slightest. Digging the claws on his feet into the ground for traction, Shiisa resisted still, not giving up even an inch.

"With age comes wisdom, my friend. It is good to start at the beginning. Especially with someone new to fighting like me. I have only been in a few fights. That was to defend myself and young ones."

«Oh? It seems you’ve suddenly gained a few years. You sound quite wise yourself!» Shiisa laughs, then stops when he realizes how obnoxious he was being. «Tell me- what is your experience with dodging enemy fire whilst in flight?»

"Not so good I am afraid. I do get hit and hurt a lot when I fight." -She sounds embarrass and looks it also.- "That is why I need all help I can get when is comes to fighting."

«In that case, I may be of some assistance. Would you be okay with a training exercise of sorts? I’d be firing heat beams at you, but I can make them non-lethal. Of course, this is only with your permission, Silvermoon.»

"You have my permission, Shiisa.." -Silvermoon bows.- "If you want you can call me Silver. All my friends do. You are now a friend and mentor to me." -She smiled.

Once more (to his amusement), he has become a mentor. «Very well then. I will give you only a few moments to get in the air. An enemy is attacking you, after all, so you must act swiftly.» Shiisa’s eyes began taking in sunlight, emitting an orange-red glow as the energy began to store. «You have five seconds.»

-Silvermoon quickly take to the air. She is high in the air. Not too high. She looks down at Shiisa. She is ready and waiting for the attack. She hope she will be able to dodge in time. He said non-lethal, and does trust him. Still she wants to be able to do this.-

As soon as Silvermoon was in the air, the guardian kaiju began assaulting her with weakened versions of his eyebeams. Without hesitation, he kept a steady close mark on her to insure the dragon was kept on her toes.

Thankfully, it was a friendly. «Those are some brilliant scales you have, wyvern. I am King Shiisa, Guardian of Okinawa and it’s people. What brings you in this direction? I might be of some assistance, if I may.»

"Hello King Shiisa. I am called Silvermoon" -She bows.- "I am no wyvern. I still be young for me kind. Thank you, for the complement. It is a great honor to meet a Guardian King like you. Sorry if I am intruding. I am trying some new tactics." 

«As long as you have no evil intents, you are welcome anytime. Okinawa is rather removed from the world, so it’s never a target for those of ill will…as it should be, and as it should stay.» He gives a gentle smile, one worn by the ages and the elements. «Perhaps I could offer some tips? That is, if you are inclined to. I understand if you are not.» After thinking for a moment, he adds an additional comment. «And please- call me Shiisa.»

"As you wish Shiisa. I welcome tips, from anyone willing to share. I may not be a Guardian but I shall fight the evil and protect the innocent." -She smiles with pride in her eyes.-

«You are noble of heart, Silvermoon. It takes courage of the greatest kind to do so- in this world of uncertainty, facing the unknown is a monumental task.» Looking around for something to get out of the water for a bit, Shiisa notices a barren islet and sits atop it, crossing his legs as he was prone to do. «Your wings give you great maneuverability- for example, against a grounded individual such as myself, this is an excellent advantage.» Resting a paw one of his knees, he thought for a moment. «Know your terrain and use it to your advantage. Mountainous regions provide cover, and forests are good for setting up an ambush. Though I feel as if I'm just stating common knowledge....perhaps my age is getting to me.» Chuckling, the guardian kaiju relaxes a bit and leans forward, hunching slightly as he looked over the young dragon. Being held in such high regard was always flattering; at this point, he had just accepted the mentor role most kaiju looked to him for.
