“I figure I’ll introduce myself in first person. Name’s Jake Ross. I was a big time at an ad firm for most of my twenties. When I turned 30, I realized I wasn’t really living. So, I cashed in all my stocks and bonds or whatever else my account had for me, I moved from the east to west coast. I bought a burger joint on the beach. Now I spend weekends on my boat and mornings, instead of a latte, I get in a good surfing session. People who see me after ten years think I’ve lost it. I think I found it. Life isn’t about running around finding other’s happiness. It’s about finding your own. Sure, I’m still a little grumpy. I wish I was making more money. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Say hi.
