Inktober! This is actually the first one I did for inktober, but I didn’t want to post it. I made myself do two things that I’m allergic to: thick lines and stippling. Looking at it now, I don’t think it turned out too badly for a thick line virgin. And it has robots. Robots are cool.

Collab

JUST so all of you know, Aaron Painter and I are now collaborating on my webcomic Recondite now. I’m still author and illustrator, but he’s added the much needed incentive-to-read of color (starting now, not on the back strips)... (maybe someday).

Aaron Painter started drawing outfit designs for his comic, and I couldn’t let him win, so here’s some sketches for things Beta could potentially wear. His boots (which are actually prosthetics) became a lot more athletic than usually draw them in the last two, which I think I dig. We’ll play around with them.

Wooooah, I didn’t draw his eyes all wonky like that, what happened? Ah well, I’m leaving it.
