I'm sorry but this is not the same person. It's almost uncanny how much Connor Storrie disappears into Ilya Rozanov. I know much has been said about the accent, the quick language acquisition. But to me what's even more fascinating is the way everything about the way he looks changes for the role - his facial expressions, the way he hold himself, all of those little micro expressions. Because cultural differences are not just in the language. A masterclass really, that whole performance. Looking forward to following his long and successful acting career.
And the same goes for this mf who apparently exorcised his true glorious freaky self every morning and slipped into the skin of anxious, repressed good boy Shane. The range. The way everyone was sooo sure nobody would be able to really follow the story of the show because we were sure without Shanes thoughts viewers would be lost? Needn't have worried, Hudson Williams will just show you 5 pages of internal complexity in a 5 second close-up shot.
