You feel their eyes crawling under your skin, dissecting every bone, burrow deep into your thoughts. They are everywhere, every second every inch is evaluated and never good enough. You´re not made for this live, for this society, for this existence. This is how it ends, surrender, concede, relinquish!

Idols of Perfection We summon constructs of devotion from circuits and call it progress. We demand perfection from what we create, and brand every flaw as failure, every deviation as filth. Nothing is allowed to fall short. Nothing is allowed to simply be. In our hunger to become gods, we learn to despise the imperfect— forgetting that we, too, were never meant to be flawless.

Martyr of the digital age Idol and Scapegoat, we forge machines and artificial minds, only to find ourselves divided in their presence—uncertain whether to revere them as greater than us or to condemn them as the source of what we fear. They become vessels for both our awe and our anxiety: praised as superior, entrusted with our thinking, and elevated beyond human limits, while at the same time blamed for our obsolescence, our dependence, and the quiet erosion of our own intellect. In this tension between devotion and dread, we reveal less about the machines we create, and more about ourselves—our longing to transcend, and our fear of being replaced by what we have made.
