$25 Semi-Emergency Sketch Commissions!

Hey y'all. Been a while since I posted anything. Sorry about that. I've been without my computer for nearly a year now so art hasn't been really possible for me to make for a good long while. Well, this past week an absolute angel of a friend was kind enough to buy a used iPad Pro for me to finally be able to get back to doing art. Alas (and this was completely my own fault) I picked a less-than-stellar stylus to go with it... One with no pressure sensitivity. Of course, the only stylus in existence that is compatible with my model of iPad that has my coveted pressure sensitivity is the 1st gen Apple Pencil, which... Gurl, I ain't got $100 to drop on that!

So, I've decided to start my return off with some emergency commissions! Single or two-character sketches, $25 flat price. Will do fanart, oc's, nsfw... I don't have many limits, so don't be afraid to ask. I'll gently and without judgement inform you if it's something I'm not comfortable doing. You also have the choice to have the sketch done right away before I get the Apple Pencil in (lines won't look as smooth but I'll try my best) or you can wait until I recieve the pencil for a better quality work.

And as always, if you can't afford to hire me and still wish to help, simply sharing this post to as many people as possible will help immensely! Thank you all so much in advance!

By the way, I am still working on that My Hero Academia Cyberpunk Au visual novel. It just had to be set aside for a while with everything that went on this year. The script is almost done and the art shouldn't take too long if I really focus on it. I ain't about to let that one go.

Sorry for the radio silence lately. Here's some progress pics for my All Might BJD project (yes, I'm still going through with that!)

A few things that have happened since I last updated stuff here on Tumblr:

I've switched to modeling him digitally, as working with clay and my clumsy hands failed to give the detail I need.

I've acquired a 3D printer, which I'll be using to print and test the parts before molding and casting the final product

I should have at least the first iteration printed by the end of the year. I anticipate having a final model by the end of February.

Anyway, here's a few progress pics that I've posted elsewhere. I've already added the joints to the fingers, but I haven't shared pictures of that just yet. Still got a lot left to do, but I'm liking the progress so far!

Yes! Sorry for not posting anything in so long. I haven't been able to art much due to some catastrophic computer failures earlier in the year, so i haven't had anything to really post here. I've posted a few things on my Twitter @ProfSpacecakes, but it's impossible to format tumblr posts properly when I'm confined to mobile. Again, sorry if i worried anyone. I'm okay, just quiet.

I have a question. I came across "How To Train Your All Might" on Archive of our Own. I'm not asking you for more. I just wanted to know why you never finished it. It was an amazing comic.

I'm terribly sorry about that, but the culprit is my unrelenting adhd. It is almost impossible for me to get through a long-term project like a proper comic, no matter my level of passion for it. I start many things, but never seem to finish them. Trust me, it's a source of great frustration in my life.

Making progress, slowly but surely.

Alright, I think it’s finally starting to look right. Just gotta figure out his nose lol

I absolutely despised yesterday’s head sculpt, so I decided to start over from scratch. I think it looks a lot better this time

Suuuuper rough head sculpt for my Smol Might doll. Just trying to get the basic features down before I bust out the rotary tool to refine things

Doing some super rough sculpting with my cheap Sculpey paper clay while I wait for my good La Doll stuff to come in the mail. I lost all my old sculpting stuff in several moves, so I had to do all this by hand for now until my new tools come in. Still a ton of work left to do, but I think this is a fine start!

Though, to be perfectly honest, I’ve been eager to get back to sculpting stuff again. Why not take that and use it to make me a tall sip of man? XP
