His eyes flicked over to look at him again, noticing his head drooped. In a sense, this was the reaction he had hoped for when he said what he did, but when his eyes fell upon the sight, it wasn't what he wanted to see. He forced himself to look away again, and took a deep breath to calm his nerves.

When the taller had pulled away, Sion was confused and worried as to if he said something wrong, and he frowned when the others face formed into one. He didn’t know if it was his words…or his attachment that made Nezumi feel uncomfortable…. if that was what he was feeling. He tried…he just couldn’t help but be so attached to the other. "That’s how I choose to be, Nezumi…." he spoke. "If something happens at least I’ll go down loving you…"

The sound of teeth grinding together could be heard faintly. The male clutched his fist tightly, nails almost digging into the skin of his palms. After a few seconds, however, he managed to find a way to relax and compose himself. He turned his head away, looking off to the side, and sighed softly. A subtle smile found it's way upon the blue-haired male's face, but after a few seconds, it had subsided into a frown. He shifted back just enough so his own gray irides were staring straight into the other's red hues, his expression somewhat serious while still appearing gentle in a way.

The scent he missed. “I can be on my own, I would just rather be with you.” That was mostly a lie, but he didn’t really care right now.
