Earlier today there was a fan story called “Representing” which was about trucks being painted in pride flags and what comes with it

As you can expect even with the support from fans there were… others, saying shit like “the fandom has wokeified” and “awdry wouldn’t like this!” (Side note: I think using his name to spread hatred is a bigger insult to his legacy than a gay truck but that’s just me) I’m not showing them because I don’t want you to subject you to that but it made me realise something

I sometimes don’t feel safe in this fandom, like I don’t belong because I’m asexual or because I have dumb headcannons

Was born in 1972, the oldest of three siblings.

Grew up sharing the manor with his parents and grandparents.

Felt like he was expected to become controller someday and wasn’t sure how he felt about it. Feared failing to live up to a legacy.

Left for London in his early twenties to escape expectations and pursue a culinary career.

Found himself extremely homesick and depressed, returned home in his mid twenties and has been happy there ever since.

Worked at Crovan’s Gate for a while before transitioning to working with his father.

Very vibrant and bubbly. Loves bright colors and dressing how he wants to dress.

Is very firmly aroace.

Really does love food, especially cake and fish and chips, is just terrible at eating.

Close with his family. Enjoys cooking/baking, and painting in his spare time.- @pepperher

The only “ thin” fat controller when in his late 40s ( forever twink 😔)

Has theses hiccups when he eats to much and will often take naps after meals, hiccuping as he goes( old man)
