Ik I said my lat post was gonna be my… last before I go away but there’s something I wanted to talk about

Earlier today there was a fan story called “Representing” which was about trucks being painted in pride flags and what comes with it

As you can expect even with the support from fans there were… others, saying shit like “the fandom has wokeified” and “awdry wouldn’t like this!” (Side note: I think using his name to spread hatred is a bigger insult to his legacy than a gay truck but that’s just me) I’m not showing them because I don’t want you to subject you to that but it made me realise something

I sometimes don’t feel safe in this fandom, like I don’t belong because I’m asexual or because I have dumb headcannons

It was all the same shallow shit aswell “ThEyRe TrAiNs!!!” Cool. Idrc
