나를 성숙해 보이게 만들고 어쩌면 나를 단단하게 만든, 내 상처와 관련된 모든 사람들에게 고마워. 모든 시간과 사건들은 나를 비웃으며 스쳐가고 나는 모든 것들에 아파하고 결국엔 혼자 방안에 틀어박혀 습관적으로 신경질적으로 혹은 강박적으로 시집을 훑는다. 모퉁이에 접힌 자국들의 글을 보면서 나는 항상 같은 상처와 시간에 머물러 있다는 느낌을 지울 수 없다. 그럼에도 시를 찾는 이유는 나만 이런 생각을 가지고 있는게 아니라는 시인들의 담담한 위로 때문이겠지. 나는 시인이 될 수 없고/진정한 사랑을 주지 못하고/그렇기에 받지도 못하며/혼자 있다는 느낌을 지우지 못한 채/또 시인의 배설을 찾겠지/

나는 도대체 무엇을 원하는 걸까

해결되지 못한 시집들이 머리맡에 쌓여간다
