ooc. can I talk for a moment about how strong juno is? bc we gonna talk. this is someone that has faced abuse, the death of his twin, constant near death experiences, broken hearts, getting clean of drug addiction on HIS OWN for 15 years, going from alcoholic to drinking in moderation, accidentally killing a friend, losing his eye, being brainwashed and gaslit and STILL decides to be better.

someone cynical and sarcastic, and self destructive, and believing that he had to be a hero and couldn't rely on anyone bc thats weakness. bc his mother ingrained into him that you have to be strong and internalize those feelings -- has learned to rely on people.

hes learning to apologize for outbursts, that whenever similarities between him and his mother pop up, that he does not need to fear them, he can control them. that hes allowed to talk about his feelings, allowed to lean on those he calls friends bc they don't see him as weak.

ooc. anyone think about that juno has to live with the trauma that his own mother shot and killed his twin brother because she thought that he was juno ?
