i finally left. one day i just snapped. something inside me said i do not love this person anymore, i don’t want them touching me and i don’t want to spend another minute of my time here. so i left. i gave my best explanation and last goodbye and i didn’t come back. i stopped apologizing for things that were out of my control and began to start focusing on things that were. when someone hurts you that deep for that long, you have to start from scratch rebuilding yourself. there were hard days i wanted to come back, that i remembered only the laughs and not the tears. i had to remind myself often that i do not belong there, that they are not the person for me and i would never be truly happy. when you work on yourself and you give off a beautiful engery, you will attract the right person. it felt like it would never end, but it finally did.
