“Huh?” Gold shoved the gear back into his jacket pocket, waving a hand in dismiss. “Nahh, it doesn’t matter. Can’t get no signal ‘cause it’s a piece of crap anyway. I’m sure it ain’t that big of a deal anyway.”

Okay yeah that came out as him not paying attention to her at all. Smooth, Gold, really smooth.

After finally getting herself out of bed, the girl was pretty much still exhausted. Not wanting tomorrow to come, it pretty much drained her energy as that day grew closer. Though there were not that many bad things about her birthday.. She just didn't want it to come so soon. There were still so many thing she had to do. So many things she had yet to try.

Ruby managed to make her way towards a small cafe where she had hope to be able to settle in and relax a bit before finding out something to do for the next few hours. Ordering some hot chocolate, she sat by the window, watching the rain fall.

"I wonder if I'll run into anyone." The black-haired girl muttered, waiting for her drink to be served.

Ruby woke up to find herself at her secret base. The familiar breeze flowing in from the opening of the base, her Pokemon were all resting in their balls, all except for Coco who would love to curl up in bed with her.

Rubbing her eyes she checked her PokeNav like she would every morning. "July 7th.." She muttered under her breath. "Then that means.. Tomorrow.." The girl lowered her head, letting out a long sigh.

"Tomorrow is my birthday."
