No hate, just how I feel. No one has to agree with me.

So happy for Ryan, Micheal, Delroy and Wunmi on their nominations: Wunmi using her lock-in season to be heavily pregnant is…. a choice but you can’t want something for someone more than they want it for themselves. Women self- sabotaging when things are getting better for themselves isn’t new but it’s sad that it’s mostly black women I see doing this again and again.

Wunmi always been ignored by the giant media industry, it only took her fanbase lifting her up and Hailee fall back, for them media to start acknowledging her. She had been in industry as much as any other actors but it’s only now she getting recognition. What was she supposed to do? Put her life on pause?

While I agree that it’s a real milestone in her career, underlining that her pregnancy (she seemed to care about ) is somehow an obstacle to her elevation…is very fan-controlling.

I love the fact that she has a family and ppl who love her because the industry can be tough. She’s now Oscar nominated and she seems to have gained powerful allies who might support her in her career. I’m sure she will be fine at the end of the day. Maybe self sabotage was too harsh but we all know the reality for black women in work place.
