Years of living in the Fire Kingdom, Flame Prince has never been in the city itself. Rumors of a fiery princess whom lived inside a lantern because she was dangerous was new to him. She was a year younger than him, and those who’ve seen her say they look alike- they could be mistaken as siblings. So he takes it upon himself to finally step in the city.
Amber, red, black, and yellow eyes stare him down as he walked down the main street. A fire lion from his pride walks beside him, ears lowered and tail swishing behind her. The guards block his way and demand his purpose of presence. Calmly, he spoke. “I’d like to… see the King and his daughter.” “Are you a suitor the King requested?” “Uh, sure?" "Right this way."
One led him to the throne room, while the other remained at the castle doors. Flame King sat on his throne; an over powering feel to him under his gaze. Above him was a lantern holding a girl who was pressed up against the glass, watching intently yet with a bored expression on her features.
Flame Prince was directed to stand in the center of the room, under the burning stare of the king.
She lowers her hands down the glass. Flame Princess just looks down, rolling her eyes. Another man who asks for her hand, eh? Thing was though, that Bubblegum wanted her in this lamp for her life, so what's the point of arranging a stupid wedding?
The girl crosses her arms over her chest, closing her eyes and turning her head away. Truth be told, unlike a lot of other princesses, love was a dumb thing to the fire elemental. It was just another emotion that'd cause a quicker death, so what's the point? When her amber eyes flicker open though, she didn't see a suitor. Flame Princess saw someone who looked... like her.
"Speak," His highness booms, leaning forward from his throne, his rhombus shaped eyes complimenting the disgust in his voice.
Flanna's heart skips a beat at the sudden burst of the silence, stumbling back against the side of her lantern facing away from the doors. She gathers her balance once more, easing her hands back up to the yellow stained glass, eyes peeping down on the other fire elemental. She couldn't put her finger on it, but he sure looked like someone she knew.
