Could someone tell me what’s wrong with meowmix?

seems that it’s made some cats sicker (puking uncontrollably) and has been infested with bugs often, also in general, i think it’s probably just low grade and can give cats problems (like purina for dogs)

What’s wrong with the bird cage? I could understand that it could be too small for a large bird like a parrot, but what about a canary?

Nope. That cage is far too small to be used as a home for any kind of bird. It’s acceptable as a travel cage for small birds, or as a sleeping only cage. But songbirds deserve to have room to move around and fly too.

For Canaries and finches, it’s recommended they have at least a 3 foot cage!

Ok huge YES to all of this except the pellet food part. High quality pellet diets (I don’t keep beardies so I honestly don’t know if the particular food pictured is rubbish or not) can be healthy as part of diet for many exotic pets. It should not be the only thing the animal is fed or relied upon too heavily (and fresh food should also be a big part of the diet), but not all pellets made for exotic animals are total junk.

True. In regards to this one though the food is essentially guinea pig pellets with fish meal instead of fat, good for fiber. Most people feed pellets over fresh foods though. These will very soon lead to a sick dragon if they’ll even eat. If you must do a prepared diet go rapashy gel foods…

This is all great! I would like to add that hamsters need much more bedding (10" for dwarf varieties and literally as much as you can reasonably fit for Syrian hams), but for mice it would be fine the way it is.

I usually recommend with hamsters to give a dig area. 2-3" on most of the tank and then a boxed area that goes 9-10" makes it easier to maintain while still allowing burrowing. Depending on the hamster type too a dust or sand pit is good too instead of a bowl on the regular bedding.

This is so true. I can speak about the bunnies because I often hear that some people just put a bunny in a cage and they think that they are happy. Bunnies need at least one partner and they need much space to jump and to run. A friend of mine also have only one bunny and this poor boy sits in a cage his whole life and she doesn’t want to let him out of his cage or at least give him a partner. Please don’t do it to your bunny. If you don’t have enough space to let them out of the cage, you shouldn’t have bunnies. Please think at first about how your bunnies feel! They are not ‘things’! They are living creatures with feels and they deserve to be treated right. Thank you
