Bijou knew exactly what she needed to do once they were back. She knew exactly what she needed to do once everything had died down. A soft sigh fell past her lips, her teeth sinking into her cheek and she moved up the steps toward the front door. She wasn't even sure if she was home. She was apparently dating some kind of prince, which had always been a dream of hers. The blonde licked her lips, fiddling with her manicure as she shifted between her feet. She didn't know how to even start. She didn't even know how to start the conversation. She inhaled sharply, knocking on the door and then folded her arms under her chest as she waited for the brunette to answer. If she even wanted to answer.

Bonnie had kept her eyes glued to Twitter for the past week since the wedding....or the not-wedding. Or the wedding that stopped being a wedding but was eventually a wedding again, she supposed. Regardless of how she felt about her at that time, watching Bijou abandon that dopey-ass prince at the altar and ride off on Malcolm’s back....Bonnie couldn’t help the pride that swelled in her chest in that moment. Sure, they’d spent the last year or so mad at each other for stupid petty reasons, but she knew Bij better than she knew herself. She knew how important making that decision had to have been to her. So while she was off who-knows-where, Bonnie tracked every Bijou Thorne tag on every social media platform to see people’s opinions and keep track of any news that may have come out. Needless to say, she was maybe obsessed with her ex best friend again. Hearing a knock, Bon got up from her bed to see who could be at her door, only to find the exact tall blonde she’d been reading conspiracy theories about for a week. “Oh my God....Hi,” she blurted, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “You’re back.”

Bijou was starting to feel that she was making a mistake. She felt like she was making the biggest mistake of her life and that the door was just gonna be slammed right back into her face when Bonnie opened it up -- if she even opened it. Or maybe she was just going to stand out side and she was going to look so stupid standing outside waiting for an answer. She didn't know if she should just turn around and leave. She fiddled with her acrylics and shifting between her feet once more. She looked up once more when the door was opened. She felt her heart skip a beat, her arms folding under her chest. She let her eyes skim over her face, her eyes widening because all the things that she'd planned -- the speech that she'd practiced, but all of it had basically been thrown out the window. She inhaled softly, tucking her hair behind her ear and she nodded. "I am," she stated softly, her eyes flicking down to the gorund and drpping her hands down in front of her. She swallowed, her eyes flicking back up to her -- whatever she was anymore, and she licked her lips. She let her eyes flick along her face, teeth sinking into the side of her cheek and she let her eyes skim over her face. "I'm --" she puffed out her cheeks, tucking her hair behin her ear and she swallowed, "I miss you."

Bonnie tugged at the hem of her pajama bottoms, noticing that Bijou was not the same hardened blonde bitch she knew her to be. Spending time away, presumably with Malcolm, seemed to have softened her, and this fact alone allowed Bonnie to let her own guard down, as well. She watched as the other girl -- normally never at a loss for words -- stammered to get out two short sentences. But by the end of the second one, Bonnie felt her heart drop into her stomach. Rather than respond right away, she just let the emotions hit her and started to sob, face crinkling up as she heaved in and out for air, tears dripping down her cheeks. The sadness that she'd suppressed for almost a year of having lost her best friend, paired with the glee of gaining her back just left her a wreck. "I -- " she started, but had to repeat herself several times just to get the words past her hyperventilating. "--I miss you too. I'm sorry I stopped talking to you, I was so mad that you ditched me to go get engaged and I'm sorry for being a bitch to you when you came back and I'm so happy that you didn't marry that fucking prince." She dove into the other girl's arms, their height difference leaving her head nestled in the crook of Bijou's neck.

Bijou 's teeth sunk into her cheek, watching her and trying to swallow back the tears that were threatening to fall. She missed her. She missed her more than she was willing to admit before. She let out a combination of a laugh and a sob, reaching up to wipe at her tears that rolled down her cheeks. The minute that Bonnie starting crying, anything that she was trying to hold back fell apart. She let out a sob, shaking her head and she wrapped her arms around her, pressing her cheek onto the top of her head. "I'm sorry I was such a bitch, I don't blame you for not talking to me," she sobbed, ahd she gripped onto her shirt. She let out a laugh/sob again, shaking her head and she reached up to wipe at her cheeks. "Me too. He was a fucking tool." She pulled away slightly, reaching up and wiping at her friends cheeks and giving her a slight smile. "But I was the worst and I should've told you everything and I shouldn't have just disappeared and I'm sorry that I'm the worst friend ever. I deserved being treated the way you did and I -- I really wanna make it up to you. ;

Bonnie heaved into Bijou's chest, holding her so tight it was like she was never going to let go. Which she wasn't, metaphorically. Physically, she pulled back and let her friend dab her eyes dry as the tears started to subside. "You don't need to do anything -- this is all I need. I just need things back to where they were before, where you're my best friend and we live here without hating each other. I have so much to tell you, oh my God." She tossed her head back, realizing that so many of the things that had happened to her in the last year Bijou hadn't been around to experience with her and was suddenly so sad again that they couldn't experience it together. But there was no way she could change that, all she could do was fill her in on what she'd missed, which was really no more than a few exciting photography opportunities and, of course, Rainier.

Bijou 's arms tightened around the small brunette, holding her as tightly as she could without absolutely suffocating her. The blonde let out a soft breath of air when she pulled away slightly, wrinkling her nose and she let out a soft laugh and she nodded. "I'm totally okay with that.I would love that. Trying to teach a mermaid about everything that has to do with fashion is exhausting." Marj was sweet, but it really exhausting trying to get her to understand real human fashion. The blonde tucked her hair behind her ear and she let her eyes flick along her face -- sinking her teeth into her cheek. "Yeah! You were with the hottie who almost has better hair than me at my not-wedding, so you def have got a lot to tell me about." She let her eyes flick over the brunette once more, the large smile on her face not faltering.
