Adult only social media and networking app review
So I recently came across a new social networking app just for adults. It only launched a couple of months ago so doesn't have millions of users but thought I'd write about it here and what I have seen from using it.
It's called Altlife.Community
It's mainly currently used by bdsm lifestylers, but from I can see in the groups and forum, it's been set up for all kinds of lifestyles Furries, Gamers, SW etc and plenty of space for people to create groups and areas!!!
As it is adult only, they do require Age verification through ID, and their terms say that unverified users get deleted within a couple of days and can't text, message etc on the site until verified.

They have spaces for Sex Workers as well and LGBTIQ+ spaces and groups.
The site isn't full of NSFW content as their site rules indicate that this should be friends only or private, which leave the site clean and friendly. It seems like a very judgement free and inclusive space, which is very different from other sites I have tried.
As I said earlier it is new, so not millions of users, which does mean there's not a lot of engagement, but it has potential.
So, after I verified I was able to access the full features for 7days and then could choose my membership option. I bought a year membership as it was only $60USD so not bad which I think allows me to post extra content, and access the dating or connections features).
The app also has a messenger, which is a separate app called altlife.chat can group chat, send messages phone/video chat (which I think is a paid feature).
One thing I found was I can create a private group and add friends to it. Also if I invite friends using my dedicate invite link they automatically are my friend on the app once verified.
It's new which is great because it means that the community to grow and self.moderage etc. On the downside it doesn't have the user base a d lots of content or engagement yet.
It's evident that the care about being an inclusive and safe space for everyone and are working towards building the app with more functions and accessibility. Once verified I found in the FAQs they do have a discord users can join, but information is only available to age verified users which is great and an easy way of chatting with other users and the mods and admin.
It definitely has potential, I think it just needs users to onboard and spread the word building their friendship groups on there.
I much prefer it to fetlife for networking and keeping in contact with my friends and I think that's where it has the up on fetlife.
