Hey Tales of The Abyss, who the hell is running this ship? I just did some cursory research on Tear and Van’s ages and I am being fed a sack of bull crap.

You cannot, at all, given every bit of characterization provided, make me believe that Tear is not only in fact not a full grown adult woman, but is, in actuality, a whole year younger than 17 year old Luke Fon Failure.

That literally makes no sense whatsoever given her voice and personality. This has to be the biggest sack of bullhockey this game has given me.

And this game is expecting me to want to follow Luke and Natalia throughout the game and endure watching Luke abuse Mieu!

And yet somehow that pales in comparison to the very notion, given all provided, that Tear Grants, is somehow a 16 year old kid and not, in fact, a woman in her early-to-mid-20s.

Ya done mucked up. That is the most unrealistic piece of writing you have presented to me and I didn’t even learn it through your writing, I had to find out by looking up a piece of random trivia.

The setting of this game is literally a world where any Jo Shmo can step outside of town and murder someone as long as it isn’t for personal gain, of course people are gonna be more toughened out.

Also fun fact, there is a reason she does not act her age. She is a knight and in order to get the respect of her peers she has to act older. Just like her brother does, this is canon from the Light Novel.
