D23, 2026 Brings Interactive Animation Pavilions For Walt Disney Studios Slate.

Today, Disney unveiled details about what fans will experience on the show floor at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event (August 14-16) presented by Visa, with all-new and fan-favorite offerings celebrating Disney’s brands and franchises across the largest show floor in D23 event history.

Show Floor Experiences

Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios are also joining forces for a must-see animation experience on the show floor, inclusive of a special celebration of Pixar’s 40th anniversary. Artist demonstrations, autograph signings with some top filmmakers, fan giveaways, and interactive displays featuring the latest films from these iconic animation studios — including the upcoming Walt Disney Animation Studios projects like Hexed, Lilo & Scratch and Frozen 3, as well as Pixar’s Gatto, Loving Dory, a unannounced Pixar film and Incredibles 3 — make this pavilion one to visit again and again.

At select times throughout the day, Bluey and Bingo will be available for photos in The Bluey Movie booth — for real life. Reservations are required for a chance to meet Bluey and Bingo.

Guests can also celebrate the new Simpsons movie — in theaters September 3, 2027 — with fun, shareable photo moments to commemorate D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

Million Dollar Mermaid (1952). Biopic of Australian swimming champ and entertainer Annette Kellerman. After overcoming polio, Kellerman achieves fame and creates a scandal when her one-piece bathing suit is considered indecent.

I really, really love the story of Annette Kellerman, but this movie doesn’t really do justice to the woman she was, and what she did in the span of her life. Instead, it reverts to a pretty era-typical bio pic, complete with heavy handed romance and long musical numbers and dance sequences and, well, a lot of schmaltz. It doesn’t really pull together. Also, as an Australian, it really, really bothered me that Annette was American, haha. 5/10.
