This is a very good question! Haven't actually thought of it before (because uhhh I like happy endings and don't want to think about any other consequences of prior actions).

My headcanon is that Shego and Drakken get pardoned but not in all countries. Shego's wanted in 11 and I'm sure that not all of them agree on dismissing prior criminal activity. Shego has it a lot harder than Drakken since she also actively broke out of prison, yes with help of other criminals but she still broke out. Drakken's case: he got abducted. In the end neither of them returned willingly back to prison so it's still bad. And since they're partners in crime, Drakken automatically gets a heavier punishment as well.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure Jack Hench wants monetary compensation. We can assume that Shego stole a lot of Hench Co.'s wares and resources. I think Jack will take a look at all the things that have been swiped and will put it on them even if some aren't stolen by them. Besides Hench, I also think some scientific organizations would go after them for the same reason.

Lastly, I'm sure some villains would turn their backs on them or start bothering them in some way or form. Trying to get info bout perhaps GJ through them or something. All in all that's my thoughts on it! Maybe I'll add more in the future!

Variety sat down with Leigh Slaughter (The Muppets Studio CEO), Eric Jacobson and Matt Vogel to discuss how 2026 has been a good year for "The Muppets" with "The Muppet Show" (2026), Rock 'n' Roll Coaster: Starring The Muppets", The FIFA Half-Time Show, The Muppets Take Over The Marvel Universe and a upcoming album by Seth McFarlane under the orchestra genre from Walt Disney Records.

During the interview, a question on the potential series order for "The Muppet Show" (2026) was asked with Slaughter and Jacobson stating the following:

Despite the strong reviews and the Emmy nominations, the “Muppet Show” revival has so far been a one-off. Given how much went into bringing back the iconic program, this can’t be it, can it Slaughter doesn’t have any news to report, except to say that it takes time to figure out what’s right for the Muppets and what’s right for Disney.

“It is something we are always working on, and we are always planning our next move, even though it may seem like sometimes there’s a little bit of a gap in time,” she says. - Slaughter
