A year has passed since the October 7 war, the Gaza Strip war. In this war, Ammar Hammad was born in harsh conditions. He was 3 months old and could not breastfeed from his mother because she suffers from asthma in the lungs and no milk comes down in her udder. There is a report from Nasser Hospital about this. Ammar needs about 10 packs of milk to help him live in these conditions, in addition to diapers and his special clothes. In addition, Ammar's son suffers from a complete tear in the cruciate ligament and cannot work. Therefore, Ammar needs your help to stay alive.

Our house is completely destroyed. We have nothing left. We live in the middle of shattered rubble.

Everything is broken for us We hoped that our first child would live a happy life, but everything was destroyed. Ammar's room was destroyed. Everything disappeared in a moment. samah and ammar urgently need $5,000 to evacuate gaza - $3k of this is needed for passports, and $2k for visas so that they can evacuate to gaza

ammar needs $1600 per week until he is able to get a stent installed, which is only possible outside of gaza. additionally, the particulates from all the bombings created a blockage in ammar's arteries, something mentioned by the doctor who performed surgery on him

he really needs to get out of gaza as quickly as possible - i submitted their campaign to a fundraising stream and we were able to raise $1k from this, and i hope we will be able to raise more for their campaign quickly

their gofundme campaign has managed to collect quite a lot of the way to their goal, thanks to a fundraiser event - i thank everyone who has participated in it again, i truly appreciate it

unfortunately, i do have to request everyone to focus on the ko-fi, if they can please do so - ammar recently had surgery, but we were not able to buy his post-surgery medication, so he ended up back in intensive care last night

ko-fi has repeatedly been taking fees that even having been given donations such that we are over the amount listed, we still end up with an amount under the total needed that we need to make up ourselves - so we may need a little more after the listed amount

after this first post-surgery medication, he will need $700 every 5 days instead, but we need to push through to getting his medication first

the doctor was no longer able to keep ammar in the hospital, so he has been forced to leave again - the longer he goes without painkillers, the more likely he is to cry hard enough to tear his stitches. please imagine how painful being unmedicated after a surgery would be, especially for a baby who has no reference for anything else
