a couple snaps from the past week or so in self-quarantine: some time spent in my uncle’s backyard painting away, an isolation ootd, and my favorite breakfast as of late! so much has changed in the last couple of weeks; yall don’t need me to tell you that. so much is uncertain. but there is no other choice but to be hopeful and grateful for everything we have right now. it’s been hard for me mentally for more reasons than one- but I am so grateful for my family’s support (even from far away), for health, safety, food, electricity, water, and connection. we will get through this together, if we work together! xxx

i’m loving the splashes of yellow in this picture! i don’t really like the strange yellow at the top of the pilot pens, but in this case, i don’t really mind.

It’s 2020 and I feel conflicted. Our world is in turmoil, the planet itself and the people within it are hurting. I’m also incredibly overwhelmed - in the midst of full time study and full time work while everybody else is on holiday or the couch 😅 that said, I’ve got this!

the first friday of the year has arrived and i spent it by going to sleep as soon as i got home. i would say ,“new year, new me” but that line is overrated and i’m sleepy/tired 24/7. this year, instead of making my own spreads, i’ll save more time by using a pre-dated planner, and start journalling instead.

got all of my philosophy notes done at the cottage and managed to memorize act 1! so proud of myself and ready for a new week of studies and coffee

I sat for hours at a lovely cafe on the east side of town this morning; had a delightful time with a dear new friend. Truthfully, I was feeling quite inspired so I journaled about the most recent events of my study abroad experience in Oxford. I am so thankful for these moments and memories.

 It’s better to work blindly than not work at all.
