Cloud George Edward

finally escaping from the crowds of people, xavier managed to slip away from his security team and freely roam the halls. he was already bored out of his mind, so he figured he could find something to do. as he approached another person, he almost turned and ran before recognizing who it was. “um, yeah, it’s down this hall and to the right, but it’s a madhouse down there. it’s where they’re greeting all the other royals,” xavier spoke, motioning in the direction of the main hall.

Cloud glanced at the boy with a soft laugh nodding, “Oh.. yeah perhaps it’s best I got lost then right?” He questioned watching the other mans reactions, “You decided to run away from it all too..?” 

“Yes, I’m here for the Summit. Presumably yourself, as well?” She nodded at his introduction. She debated on using her title in her own introduction, but decided against it, “I am Katelijne.”

He nodded watching the blonde who seemed rather more Royal than Cloud ever was, “That’s a pretty unique name” he laughed soft not hearing a name that rare since his own.

johann grinned at the compliment — would they continue where they left off the last time ?? not that he remembered any effortless flirting or ambiguous smiles; his memory only full of the taste of alcohol and the other’s lips, not offering him an explanation how it came to that. “ other than being shipped off to marry a stranger ?? “ johann chuckled, shaking the other’s hand. not pushing for further contact. “ other than that, not complaining. i got to finish my master’s degree since we last saw each other, actually. though seeing a familiar smile like yours around certainly makes it more pleasant. “ a soft sigh as he shook his head. “ how have you been ?? “

Wanting to just almost knock over the boy and fill his sober lips with kisses he managed to keep a “straight” face on nodding at Johann’s words, “That sounds rather.. not you” he laughed smirking watching the man, “I’ve been great thank you, My oh so loving Father shipped me here to find a Wife” He almost cringed at the Wife word he didn’t want a wife honestly.. part of him just wanted to go back to the night he met Johann.

Hana quietly went back to her book, glad that he didn’t seem like much of a rowdy type. “Wh-” she looked up once again, raising her eyebrows. “Oh-” she bowed from her sitting positions before holding out her hand for a shake, “I’m Hana - Erinomiya Hana Naishinno.” It had been awhile since she introduced herself with her full name.

Cloud smiled bowing a little as he took her hand in his own, “That’s a rather long name.. Mines just Cloud George Edward.. Prince of Germany” He shrugged glancing at the book she held smriking, “That’s a great book”

‘‘Cloud?–’‘ He raised an eyebrow as he looked at the other male. ‘‘I wish my parents would’ve given me a name people can pronounce,’‘ but he was surprised nonetheless. Cloud was the first member of the royalty with a name that wasn’t remotely classy or from another era. ‘’My name is Kiaan; Kiaan Singh Rajput, crown prince of India. It’s a pleasure to meet you.’’ It wasn’t his type to introduce himself mentioning his royal status, but in a place filled with people from all over the world it felt like a necessity.

“That’s well.. a long name” He laughed knowing he wasn’t one to talk about names, after all his mother wasn’t a traditionalist when it came to royal names, “Yes.. Cloud George Edward um.. Prince of Germany” He bowed a little wanting to seem a little classy to the man.

Glancing at who’d touched her arm, Katelijne was careful not let her expression change at all. “Your Highness,” she curtsied, “How lovely to see you.” The blonde had done some research on each of the royals that would be attending the Summit, but she hadn’t needed to do much on this one. Her father had assured her that she shouldn’t bother building a connection with any royal from Germany. Her father didn’t seem to like the family much.

Cloud nodded at her rather regal curtsy, “And youself.. I take it you’re here for the Summit yes?” He asked curiously not knowing any other reason, Cloud knew exactly who she was but would not take advice from his parents on who to interact with. “I’m Cloud.” He bowed a little.

After a few hours Cloud hadn’t found hardly anyone he knew apart from an old one night stand, that was until now when he saw the familiar face his family told him to stay far away from smirking, he headed towards the girl, “Well would you look at who it is” He smirked touching her arm.

She looked up from her book a little confused, raising her eyebrows. “Ah-” she stopped to look around her before nodding. Hana knew it wasn’t her place to say much (as if she would say anything) so she nodded. “Yes, go ahead.”

Cloud smiled politely as he sat down a little away from the woman as he kept his head in his secret phone which he hid from most of the royals, sighing he glanced around the grounds for a moment, “I.. er I’m cloud” He introduced himself.

victoria was making her way back to her bedroom, fleeing to isolation after greeting guests to the palace all day when a voice piped up. she hadn’t seen anyone around her, and quickly plastered a grin on her face before turning towards them. “well, it seems you’ve found the best person for the job. i can get you anywhere in this palace.” 

Cloud smiled as he walked towards the girl sighing a breath of relief, “I’m glad you can.. I have a habit of walking until i’m lost, “ He smirked bowing a little, “My names Cloud and Yours is?” He questioned not knowing the best way to greet a female.

‘‘What do you think if we just keep walking until we find a window, or a staircase? It’s like walking through the woods looking for a road, but for royals,’‘

“Now that sounds like a plan” He smirked as the pair began to walk, “My name’s cloud.. and yours?” He asked glancing at the male, 

She felt a little defeated. Despite all her efforts, she wasn’t successful in finding a library - a place, in most cases, that proved to be a safe haven for her. But she promised herself she’d continue the hunt after dinner and so retreated to a corner she found near her apartment to (hopefully) read in peace.

Walking for what felt like hours Cloud finally noticed a clear spot in the grounds near some apartments, slowly he began to walk closer, “do.. you mind if I sit here too..?” he asked not wanting to out step his mark.

“ well, i suppose it’s a good thing photographs of royals are now prefered to paintings. imagine posing for one for days, and then getting a result like this, where no one can even recognize you. “ only as he turned to grin at the other did johann recognize the young man. “ hey. long time no see, huh ?? “

Cloud let out a laugh listening to the boy as his eyes kept locked onto the painting, “yeah you’re right..” He said cutting himself off as he turned to look at the familar face. “Well if it isn’t you” he smirked offering a hand to him, “You look great how have you been!?”

‘‘–why so skeptical? don’t I look like i was born and raised in this palace?’‘ he thickened his accent, before smirking at the other male. ‘‘i’ve been too proud to ask for direction. i don’t even know where i am right now,’‘ kiaan admitted with a chuckle.

Cloud laughed with a smirk as he looked around then back at the man, “Well I honestly..started walking then just kept walking and now..i’m pretty lost” He shrugged glancing at his phone.
