“As for th-the other thing, I don’t think Acid ever t-t-told you how trines work, d-did he?” He asked, eyeing the Prince from the corner of his optics. With Acid’s shyness, he doubted it.

“Look t-t-trines are... a little complicated. This is not ju-just a ‘we need to stay together’ kind of d-deal... Ugh, where do I even s-start...?”

:: Ah, Nightfury. You g-got me worried for a moment th-there. Me and Nova are alright. :: He was actually happy someone was just checking to see if they were OK. :: N-Nova is taking a nap now. Ho-How are things on your end? ::

:: I wish we c-could give you so-something in return. ::

“There’s… also so-something else I want to d-d-discuss.”

“I’m glad that I’m able to… help him stay at peace, because I know how much he needs it. And I’m sure keeping the peace with you and Nova as well, I at least have to offer you all a home to take haven to.” Starscream then paused once the other had another thing to discuss with him. “Yes?”

“You… are a g-g-good mech Starscream. Really good.” And that was a gigantic relief.

“I’m happy you see me that way. I’m sure my alternate would… honestly speak different. Of course he would speak different. But, I thank you.” Starscream had nodded to Stormfront and smiled more.

“There’s... also so-something else I want to d-d-discuss.”

Stormfront let out a sigh. “Not a problem to us, b-b-but a problem to you. Do-Do you even have any idea what you would b-be getting into? You have any idea what it means to ta-ta-take away one of the Decepticon’s ‘secret weapons’?” Stormfront was very serious as he spoke, smile dissolving into a neutral expression. “He lik-likes you. A lot. You have no idea. But I’m afraid he’s not really s-s-seeing the big picture here.”

Starscream paused before opening his mouth again. “I know in the event that the Decepticons can and probably will track the three of you down… but I’m not giving up without a fight, Stormfront. I will protect my city, or die trying. I will protect those whom I care about, or die trying. I’m not going to surrender so easily, just because a bucket of bolts killed hundreds. The history of Vos goes way back, and it wouldn’t be just only me. A strong person stands up for himself. A stronger person… stands up for others.”

“Either way…” Stormfront stared at his lap for a while before speaking up. “My brother… he t-t-told me he… is thinking about mo-moving out of base to live here. With you.” Another pause. “Did he t-t-talk to you about this?”

“Because… well… I… just some things were a little hard for me and… he suggested to move in with me, here at the palace.”

“Oh, yes, go right ahead. What did you want to ask me?” The Prince glanced to Stormfront, getting a piece of ice from his cup and chewing on it.

“Either way...” Stormfront stared at his lap for a while before speaking up. “My brother... he t-t-told me he... is thinking about mo-moving out of base to live here. With you.” Another pause. “Did he t-t-talk to you about this?”

“He-hey, hm… The Prince… ri-right?” Then a head peeked under the parasol and Stormfront’s face came into view. “Oh, hm… he-hello?”

“I-I know it’s weird f-f-for me to be here on my own but... I had t-to ask you a thing or t-two.” Stormfront explained, side-eyeing the small sparklings.

The Prince had agonizingly stared up at the blue, cloudless sky, as the sun bared down on his children who were trying to rest under the giant parasol they had. “It’s too hot… Seems like Vos is getting the hot weather first.” Starscream gently wiped condensation off of his forehelm with a soft cloth before sighing. Looking down at his twins, they both looked up to their mother, almost pleading for relief. “… I think we need to have pool time.” 

“He-hey, hm... The Prince... ri-right?” Then a head peeked under the parasol and Stormfront’s face came into view. “Oh, hm... he-hello?”

"Anh... sporry we are here so early." Novastorm finally spoke up, noticing that his brothers were too busy bickering.

Fury returned the tight hug. A soft trill escaping her as she nuzzled into it happily. “No thanks necessary.Just take care of each other is all I ask.” Her field pushed out against his happily, pulsing her happiness at their visit and her determination to help them. "I might have some extras on sparklings if you want, or just stuff in general." Not to mention a schematic for a machine that made energon, but shhhhhh lets not tell them she’ll add that too when they aren’t looking. "It’s definitely a good spot to start. I can ask my adoptive carrier, see if she’s got any extras i can give you to read if you’d like?" 

"I just wish there were more bots like you back home Fury, willing to help others without wanting anything in return" Acid said, finally letting go of her.

"Oh, hey Dashflower" Ruby greeted. Dashflower immediately greeted the new comers.

Novastorm peeked at the dog from behind his brother, shifting his gaze from front to Acid, not really sure what to do. He also wanted a dog to pet!

"I hope we aren't late...?" Acid Storm asked, head tilting to the side.

"Heh… He’s very n-nice. We… never really t-t-touched any type of Cybertronian animal before."

Novastorm peeked at the dog from behind his brother, shifting his gaze from front to Acid, not really sure what to do. He also wanted a dog to pet!

"Heh... He's very n-nice. We... never really t-t-touched any type of Cybertronian animal before."

"I didn’t know that. Heh… Looks like there’s a lot I still need to learn about sparklings that datafiles didn’t cover." Acid said, looking over the sparklings and his brother who seemed to be really entertained by them.

"D-Datafiles are our only source of k-k-knowledge sometimes. Although I wish it wasn't-t" Stormfront said with a sigh. Sometimes it was hard trying to learn about medical procedures just by reading. And having to practice it only at surprising situations. "Although m-maybe now that we know the multiverse is a th-th-thing, we might learn more without having to rely on written works o-only."
