Hear Your Ancestors

As you are making your solo journey, you meet a neanderthal, a wayward much like you, trying to find a place to settle away from the harsh winters and cruel disease. You become traveling companions.

You meet a fellow human after much time living alone in the wilderness; a shy fellow, unlike you, and a sculptor of tiny figurines. You live and survive together for a while, until one fateful night, you conceive what would become your first child.

The stars shine brightly, lighting the way for you as you once again set up camp. You’ve been alone for a month now, the longest you’ve ever been, engaged in a fortless siege with a great beast. You grow weary, but knowing your fellow villagers are counting on you to bring home food refills your vigor. You will win.

The fire burns brightly, keeping the wolves at bay from your hut. You hope the chieftain’s daughter likes the gift of dried flowers.
