“I wasn’t, but I definitely am gonna try to make my only joke.. fah now.” He mentioned before closing the door behind her and walking toward the kitchen, placing the bags on the counter before allowing his son to climb onto his back as that was basically their thing. Once he was up there, PRIEST began to pace the kitchen while NY’ELI prepped to start cooking. “I spoke to moms and my siblings earlier. Smoked and did some budgeting for the casino earlier, now y’all are here. So, i guess that’s it, for real. LJ, was you helping yo’ mama out at the store?” He asked of his son who started on a long story about everything he did in the store, allowing PRIEST to help the woman cook their meal as well.

PRIEST already was aware of the fact that his child and child’s mother were coming over for the day, so he made sure to prepare to possibly have his son stay over for a few days. In the midst of pulling a hoodie over his head, he heard the knock on the door and went to let them in. Once opened, PRIEST watched as his son bum rush past NY’ELI to hug his legs, causing him to laugh. “Wassup, son?!” He stated excitedly while reaching toward his child’s mother to grab the bulk of the bags. “Damn, girl. Did you buy the store?” He asked rhetorically before allowing her to swoop up LJ, so they could come in the house.

as focused as he was on the food, her voice was one that he was starting to hear more often that he thought he would. with a wry chuckle, his eyes followed from her hips to her face before his smile mirrored that of a devious one. she had a way of starting with him even if she wasn’t trying to. “don’t do me like that, shawt.’” PRIEST replied to her sly remark before looking back at his plate, then picking up an empanada. “i’m really just eatin’, blood. hungry as fuck. you fuckin’ with the soul food tho’? lemme try one of ya wings if you gon’ try them.”

PRIEST ended up with a smaller plate in hand, eyeing for a few wings and a taco, not knowing how big his appetite would get with his oncoming high. A few low chuckles sounded out from his lip at the women’s mention of no one cooking in the house. “Damn, ain’t no home-cooked meals goin’ on ‘round here? What y’all been doin’?” PRIEST asked her, his eyes never leaving the food until he was now face to face with her. “I’m not gon’ hold you, these tacos kind callin’ my name. if you picky ‘bout seafood, why you ain’t been chefin’ it up?”

with a blunt to his lips, PRIEST made his way down the stairs to interact with his other housemates. He’d realized that he hadn’t spoken to anyone since he’d been there and it didn’t make sense to keep that going. “aye, it smell good as fuck in here. where she got this food from?” the male mumbled under his breath, looking under all of the pan. taking another pull from the blunt, he noticed the next person scoping the scene as well. “what you tryna smack on?” PRIEST asked, making the best small talk he could.
