However, her opinion of the kid changed when she mentioned her Pokemon. Fuck, she is a trainer. However, the kid must have been really naive and stupid not to notice that Artemis was up to no good. She laughed at the foolish kid, at how innocent she was. The kid wasn’t good at seeing what was real, and it would be fun to mess with her head. She decided she wasn’t going to waste too much time beating around the bush and waiting for the kid to get a grip on reality.

Why is she laughing? It was randomly out of nowhere..maybe it was just that she was awkward at talking? She did seem rather quiet almost while she was talking. Kotone shrugged it off, forcing a smile. “Really? There are some nice shops around here, like the pokemart right here. I’m sure you’ll end up finding something even if you aren’t looking~—..”

..what? Why is she suddenly acting so..where did that come from?

Kotone stopped walking, looking over at the girl. ”..s..stupid? I’m not the smartest, but, y’know..” she started to say with an awkward laugh. The girl was even giving her a nasty look, which made her grow more uncomfortable. ”..did something happen? Are you upset about something?” She was beginning to assume that, surely, she was just grumpy or hurt about something and was lashing out at someone; there was no way she was anything bad.

“You started to chasing me like a crazy fangirl. Tell me what you want.”

He closed his eyes. But the urge of scream a huge and large FUCK YOU is starting to grow.

“I’m sorry about that..aha~..” She stared at the girl in front of her, noticing that she was a little bit shorter and having green hair, along with her wearing a pale dress that suited her very well. That, and her eyes were almost shining; it was eerie in a cool way. “Hey, your eyes are really pretty! Red’s one of my favorite colors, so~.” Unfortunately..those “cool” eyes she was watching were far from having innocence in them.

“Oh! The money.” Kotone had nearly forgotten about it in her hands from bumping into the girl! “Just running to the Pokemart to get food for my pokemon and I! They’re waiting for me at the Center, so I can’t take too, too long..” she responded sheepishly. “I’m not worried about someone stealing it, even though mom just gave me more money. It’s a peaceful city~!”

“Houndoom, wait here while I get the food from the Pokemart, okay?” Kotone said with a grin. Her hound Pokemon looked with disapproval, not wanting her to go on her own; she was leaving her bag with him since she was only bringing money, having no Pokemon as a result. “Ohh, it won’t take long! You know that!” Patting him on the head, he made a slight grunt while laying down and resting his head on the bag. No use following her since she’d just tell him to go back. He had to guard the spot they had at the Center anyway since it was crowded today.

Walking out as the automatic doors opened, she walked down the main path and towards the path of the Pokemart. ”..hmm..maybe I’ll just have ice cream for dinner. It’s been a while since I did that..” Counting the money in her hands, she was unaware of the figure in front of her and bumped into them.

She stopped in the midst of her thoughts, trying not to dwell any further. Her remaining sanity told her to avoid killing anybody tonight, it might be too much drama. And there were too many people around, and she was armed with so little. However, she wasn't listening too well--she never listened very much anyways to anybody. Artemis walked along, noticing that the further into the city she went, the more obnoxious trainers and their Pokemon gathered around the streets.

She walked in front of the Pokemart, not thinking much of stealing anything. She wasn't in the mood to, anyways. She noticed some kid was counting money, not paying attention to where she was going. The overalled-girl wasn't seeing that she was just about to run into Artemis, and Artemis was in no mood to move for some brat. The kid bumped into her, and even though the Rocket was shorter, she held her ground as the kid rebounded and apologized.

She glared, her new crimson eyes shining, mainly due to her color contacts. A smirk grew on her face in realization that she possibly had a new victim. However, it was much too crowded, too many people watching. Or were they? She looked in her peripherals to see if anybody was really watching or paying attention, but there, in reality, were only a few people around. Still too many for comfort.
