3rd official Harrison Wells/HR appreciation ficathon/art-a-thon
Itās been a little over a week since the midseason finale and Iāve had a number of people point out to me how quiet the communityās been lately, so do you know what that meansā¦?
Thatās right! ITāS HARRISON WELLS APPRECIATION FICATHON/ART-A-THON (Part III) TIME, YOU GUYS!!!
Since everything went rather smoothly the last couple of times I put this challenge together (and, again, a very big thank you to everyone who participated), I think weāll stick to the same rules as before:.
RULES: Using a random generator with the names of the main/secondary characters of the show, you will be assigned 4 characters to choose fromāpick at least one. You will then have two choices, depending on what form you would like to make your submission:
If you are writing something, you can choose toā¦
(1) Write one 1000+ fic that contains Harrison/Eowells/HR (your choice) and your assigned character (keeping in mind that there does not have to be a romantic relationship between them). You are more than welcome to include other characters in your piece, just as long as your assigned character interacts with Harry to some degree.
(2) If you dislike all of your assigned characters (or if you want to write more than one piece), write one 200+ word fic(let) about Harrison and your assigned character, as well as another 500+ word fic(let) of Harrison and any other character(s) of your choice from the show
If you are making some kind of art piece (eg. a drawing, a gif set, a music video, etc.), your options are a little weirderā¦
(1) Make one piece that contains Harrison and your assigned character (again, this does not have to be a romantic piece, and you are more than welcome to include other characters)
(2) If you dislike all of your assigned characters, make a stick figure picture of your chosen one interacting with Harry/Eowells/HR to some degree and then another, more elaborate piece containing Harrison and any other character(s) of your choice from the show.
As it stands, this is the list of characters that I will be entering into the generator (please keep in mind that you are free to write about the Earth-1 character or their doppelganger(s)):
Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp or whoever else you imagined him to be before the finale)
Eobard Thawne (Mattobard or Harribard)
Tess Morgan/Jesseās mom/Randolf Morgan
If you happen to dislike the first four characters that the generator produces for you, I will redraw four new characters for you, but only onceā¦
As it stands, the final due date for submissions will be midnight on 23rd of January 2016. What happens if youāre late? Wellā¦nothing, actually. You will just deprive the world of your beautiful work.
Anyhowāthatās the gist of it. There is only one other thing I would like to point out to you, and that is that nothing needs to be canon. For example, if you want to write about Reverb surviving Zoomās attack and interacting with Harry, thatās perfectly fine by me. Or if youāre still a die-hard fan of the Hunter/Jay ātwin theoryā and want to pretend Jay Garrick really is Hunter brother, Iām game with that as well. Those of you who participated last time know Iām pretty chill about the rules. I just want you to have fun.

PS: There is no deadline to join. You can sit and ruminate over joining as long as you like.
