Hey guys, I’m back!! I got out of jail April 7th but didn’t have a phone because the police confiscated mine & got a search warrant for it. So, I just finally got a phone.

I had been sentenced to 2 years prison, so with good time a year, but 6 months into my sentence they released me due to COVID-19. But, as of now I have a court date on June 18th & they are going to remand me into custody & so I can complete my other 6 months in jail.

BUT, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF ME NOT HAVING TO GO BACK TO JAIL!!! I would have to hire a lawyer, who would the submit a modification of sentence to the judge & if the judge approves the modification, then I can do the rest of my time on house arrest.

The lawyers I have talked to said they really believe that the judge is likely to accept the modification because they are really trying to have as few people in jail as possible.

I feel really confident that hiring a lawyer would keep me from spending 6 more months in jail.

So, here is my dilemma; I’m about $500 short for the cheapest attorney. My stimulus check went to my parents because they have custody of my son & I was behind on child support. Then, I didn’t qualify for any unemployment because I was in jail for the 6 months leading up to the outbreak. I just got a job 2 weeks ago as a server & I’ve saved $250 so far & the cheapest lawyer I’ve found is $750.

I mean, I feel like a lot of it has to do with how you take care of yourself.

Things I do every single day:

Stay hydrated

Use biotene mouthwash - it's specifically for dry mouth

Go to sleep every day

Eat at least once a day

Wash my face

Shower

Brush my teeth

Moisturize

STAY HYDRATED
