''Exactly!'' he agreed, even if he could probably name a couple of people who might not appreciate this type of outing. But to him, it was perfect. He'd rather spend time doing an activity with someone he liked instead of sitting in front of them at a restaurant just talkingā¦well, he would love that too. He smiled when he felt a kiss on his forehead. He knew he wasn't the most physical with most people, but he loved how different he acted with him.
He nodded at his words, ''I think it's important to take the time sometimes.'' He wasn't the best person to talk about taking time for hobbies outside of work these days, but he was already enjoying this. He wrote their names on the little screen and picked up a bowling ball, deciding to play first.
As he stood at the lane, he felt a wave of happiness wash over him. He glanced back at Charlie, focused on the pins and rolled the ball. It wasn't a perfect shot, but it wasn't terrible either. He managed to knock half the pins. Turning around, he grinned. ''Not a bad start, right?''
"As much as I love just sitting and talking, doing something like this is just as good." Charlie said with a smile as he made sure his shoes were tied properly before he looked over at Theo, watching as he got them settled in for their games. "I think now I might have reason to take that time." Charlie said with a gentle smile as he ran his eyes over Theo, for a moment.
He laughed softly as Theo made the choice that he would go first. Charlie shifted back into the seat as he watched Theo bowl. "Pretty good." Charlie said as he glanced up at the scoreboard before he stood up and grabbed a ball.
Charlie took a breath before he moved towards the line that told them where to stand. If he was being truthful about it, Charlie can't remember the last time he just went out to have fun. Charlie looked back at Theo before he shifted his footing and lined his shot up before he rolled his ball. Charlie tilted his head as he watched the ball curve slightly before it made contact with the pins. Knocking down five of them. "Think I'm a bit a rusty." Charlie laughed as he walked back towards to Theo.
