And I’m packing a piece.

''Exactly!'' he agreed, even if he could probably name a couple of people who might not appreciate this type of outing. But to him, it was perfect. He'd rather spend time doing an activity with someone he liked instead of sitting in front of them at a restaurant just talking…well, he would love that too. He smiled when he felt a kiss on his forehead. He knew he wasn't the most physical with most people, but he loved how different he acted with him.

"As much as I love just sitting and talking, doing something like this is just as good." Charlie said with a smile as he made sure his shoes were tied properly before he looked over at Theo, watching as he got them settled in for their games. "I think now I might have reason to take that time." Charlie said with a gentle smile as he ran his eyes over Theo, for a moment.

Theo practically bounced with excitement as he and Charlie walked into the bowling alley. The smell of freshly made popcorn and the sound of pins crashing filled the air, making Theo's heart race with anticipation. He looked over at Charlie, already smiling. This was their first official date, and he was determined to make it special. ''You had such a good idea, I haven't been bowling in ages!'' He grabbed Charlie's hand, leading him to the counter so they could rent their shoes. He glanced around, taking in the vibrant lights and the hum of activity around them. His hand felt warm and steady in his, and it sent a pleasant shiver up Theo's spine. ''You've played before, right?'' He asked once they were sitting in front of their assigned lane, lacing up his own shoes. @prettyboy-glowinggold

Charlie was nervous, this was his first date since his husband died. But he was also excited, for the date. Theo's company, was something Charlie was quickly enjoying. Charlie's smile grew as he stepped into the bowling alley with Theo. "I thought it could be fun, and who doesn't love bowling.' Charlie said as he nudged Theo softly before he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Theo's forehead.

“Seems very simple then,” Roman responded when Charlie mentioned he was off duty.  The older werewolf rolled his eyes at the other, just annoyed Charlie had the audacity to come up and ruin his good time.  Roman softly hummed to himself, rattled on about always being a cop or some shit like that.  “A concern? Let me check my give a fuck meter.”  The wolf looked down at his empty wrist and shrugged.  “Sorry bud, guess I’m all out of fucks today. Why don’t you just hurry along.”  With that, he grabbed his newly filled drink and took a sip.

Charlie let out a soft laugh as he shook his head. "If only it was." Charlie knocked the bar gently, as he looked at the bartender for a moment before he looked back to Roman. "Yes well.." Charlie shook his head as he took another sip of his drink. "You may not be concerned, but I am and I know Theo would be as well." Charlie placed his glass back down at the bar, looking at it for a moment before he looked back to Roman. "Do you really want to do this Roman?"

"Thank you, I'm fine I promise," Avery smiles as he pulls the chair, sitting in frount of the dective, "Oh no, no Mr.Moore, Mr.Moore is my dad," Avery laughs that just made him feel a little bit old, "Just Avery is fine, please," not that he expected to call the detective by his frist name, there was a level of respect he would maintain, but he still wanted to be just Avery. "So how've you been?"he asks, "I wanted to tell you I found the guitar! good, news right?"

Charlie nodded his head slightly as Avery sat down. Charlie closed the folder and put it to one side. "Right, Avery." Charlie said as he took another sip of his coffee before he looked at the male sitting across from him. Charlie shrugged slightly at the question. "Fine, busy with work." Charlie nodded towards the files before he smiled softly. "That is good to hear, in one piece I hope."

Unusual was normal? Hal almost smiled. "Good to know. Thank you," he added.

Charlie raised an eyebrow as he saw the almost smile on Hal's lips. "You're welcome."

"Okay Charlie," Llewellyn said, though he was too nervous about what was going on to be glad he could use the detective's first name. Maybe he was over-stressing this situation, however. If he was in trouble, wouldn't the detective cuff him and shove him in the back with little regard to Llewellyn's knees being jammed up uncomfortably? Instead, the other male was ushering him into the passenger side seat. He ducked down into the car and folded his legs in carefully-- his six-five frame sometimes had difficulty navigating these more compact spaces.

Charlie looked over at Llew, making sure the other put his seat belt on before he pulled away from the curb. They fell into silence as Llew seemed to consider the answer before he told Charlie his name was John before he quickly back tracked and told Charlie that it wasn't his name. Charlie let out a laugh as he shook his head. "I know your name isn't John, I saw your id." Charlie glanced at Llew, a soft smile on his lips. "Or did you forget that?" Charlie questioned before he laughed again. "I'm not going to arrest you, calm down." Charlie slowed the car down at a give-way sign before he turned the corner.

Avery had decided to drop by the cafe to have his morning coffee and maybe grab something to eat, the wolf was feeling a little better so he wanted to stop hiding, be more out there, doing things, he now had Ney to come to if something were to happen and that for sure helped.

Charlie quite often found himself in the cafe on his way to the work, it wasn't too busy and the barista knew Charlie, not by name but by his order. Which was another small things Charlie was thankful for, one less person to talk too.

As Thaddeus slipped into the vehicle, he greeted the other and smiled.  “I am doing well, just glad to get out of the house.”  Once the other turned the ignition and started the car, they were heading towards the forest to go hiking.  “Yes, the babysitter is new.  I am just hoping Norma behaves.”  Thaddeus commented.  It was no secret that his daughter at times could be a handful and it was difficult to find people willing to watch her that wasn’t her aunt or Minho who encouraged a lot of her behavior.

Charlie nodded his head as he listened to Thad. "Well I'm always happy to help you escape, your house whenever you need too." Charlie looked back at Thad, his smile growing slightly. "Does she not like new people or is more testing to see how much she can get away with?" Charlie questioned as he slow his car for a light.

Done with the lamp, Duncan retrieved his hands off it, making sure that all was in its place first as this was an oil lamp - mishandling could mean a fire hazard. As he did so, he continued to listen to Charlie with his back turned to him. Eventually, he made a slow turn to give the detective a glance. “No one steals from this house.” He asserted, a claim as sure as the fact that the sun rises in the east and sets down in the west; there was no wavering of doubt in Duncan’s voice, as if this fact could not be changed even if the rest of the world ended up turned upside down. “I have, however, noticed something that could be related to the reports you speak of.” He added casually, almost as an afterthought.

Charlie glanced at the around the shop again before he looked up at the Vampire. "Well I hope that is true." Charlie said with a slight nod of his head. He crossed his arms over his chest and let a small huff as the other finally faced him. He raised an eyebrow at the statement, but it seemed the other wasn't going to give him more than that. "And? Would you care to tell me what they?" Charlie questioned, feeling himself getting annoyed.

Lately, Roman stopped caring about those who saw him in a bar.  For months, he mainly drank at his place and kept to himself.  Now, he is going back out just to get out of his head and enjoy the company of others…even if it were from afar.  With another cheap glass of whiskey placed in front of him, he heard a familiar voice and he grumbled under his breath.  Fuckin’ pig, he thought to himself never being a fan of the police.  “You're off duty right?  So, maybe mind your own fuckin’ business?”  The man said as he turned over to see the man who pulled him over about a week ago.

Charlie looked over at the bartender, smiling a little as he ordered his own drink. Before he looked back to Roman. He ran his eyes over him for a moment, before he sighed. Charlie knew he had no right to come over and question Roman like he did. But also hated how Theo looked when he had to come and pick Roman up or when he came over later on to decompress. "Yeah, I am." Charlie confirmed as he reached out glass of whiskey that placed in front of him, Charlie thank bartender before he turned to face Roman properly. "But that doesn't mean, I stop being a cop." Charlie shrugged slightly before he took a sip of his drink. "And seeing you here, is a concern."

"Oh.. oh, good, okay." Llewellyn nodded, trying to allow himself to feel some relief with the man's words but, that was kind of hard as they checked over the stuff in his wallet. This all felt like a traffic stop, but only Llewellyn had walked into it. "I do?" Once again, he sounded doubtful and squinted hard at the other. Trying to recognize him. "I'm sorry, sir, I just.. I can't place you, myself." There was just no sense of familiarity to him whatsoever. So how did the detective know him?

Charlie shook his head slightly as he looked at the other. "You might just have one of those faces." Charlie said with a shrug. Did Llew really not know what was going on? Did he not get a sense that something was off or that time had passed him. This was being more and more concerning, Charlie knew something wasn't right. But he just wasn't sure what. But he knew he would have to go about this carefully. "Please, Charlie is just fine." Charlie said as he let another small smile grace his features.

"I thankfully found someone to trust and turn too when things got hard." Charlie said as he rubbed his ring again before he clenched his hand slightly. Daniel took everything in his stride, when Charlie told him what had happened, what he was. Daniel took a minute for he decided it didn't matter. Charlie was the love of his life, and that was that. "Yeah, I had someone come into the station, something of there's got stolen. Anyway they were talking about finding the pack, and seemed real happy about it. But you know, I just don't see myself as part of the pack." Charlie shrugged as he tilted his head slightly before he stood up. "You hear that? I think the elevator has kicked back up again."

Ryden pressed his perfectly white, sharp teeth into a tight line, shrugging at the other man helplessly. “Bad luck, mate. But yea, seriously.” He agreed. It was one of the reasons why Ryden was a cat person, even though he was a werewolf himself. “Yea, no worries. Sensitive nose got its perks. Er, downsides, in dis case?” He said as he crouched down to tie his loose shoelace. “Yo, Charlie. I’m Ryden. On a run?” He asked conversationally, if he were bothered by the awkward smell from what Charlie had stepped in, Ryden didn’t show it even though he could definitely smell it. Sensitive werewolf nose and all, it was a bitch sometimes but could also sometimes save you a lot of grief.    

"People are just too lazy to do it or just pretend they don't see it." Charlie said as he gave his shoe one last scrap on the grass before he gave up. He will have to clean them when he gets home, a job he didn't need today. Charlie let out a small laugh as he shook his head. "I wouldn't call it a perk, you smells things that you really don't want to smell." Charlie looked at his shoe for a moment before he looked back to the wolf. "Nice too meet you Ryden." Charlie said as he nodded slightly. "Yeah, thought it would be nice before work. But now I'm rethinking that." Charlie pushed a hand through his hair slightly before he reached out for his water and took a drink. "What brings you out this way?"

Ah, the old standards. Nothing to see here. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. They were about as subtle as neon signs, but Hal was pleased to know people—including cops—were still using them. "I can," Hal agreed, but he wouldn't. Not yet at least. It could very well be that there was no story, but that was up to him to decide.

"In this town, unusual seems to be a normal a Tuesday." Charlie said as he leaned back in his chair again. He pushed his hand through his hair again, causing his hair to become messy and his curls starting to slip. "You know not everything has to be published. Sometimes things are just best left, as they are. We don't need stories getting out." Charlie was speaking from his own experience. What his father did, was very publicize, he couldn't walk through the main street of his town with someone commenting on it and When they moved to Boston, it only got worse. "Well I don't think you will get any perspective here."
