They took a joke I made about Count Olaf being an actual pedo and twisted it to their own pleasure.

Very immature.

I will never ship Violaf - unlike them - nor support, like or condone any kind of pedophilic interest/action both in fiction and in real life.

I just cope with things that I fear/that make me uncomfortable by using dark humor, which is not everyone’s cup of tea but it’s my preference.

I think it’s gonna start some interesting discussions when season 3 airs, because it gets them in the right path to organically grow into this mindset that certainly doesn’t come out of nowhere or as abruptly as it does in the books. ( or at least I perceived it that way, I may be completely wrong, I read them months ago ).
