Joey loved when she had a day off, she was able to sit at home all day and play with her beautiful little baby. She had gone back to work two months ago and now Cash was growing faster than Joey would like to admit. She was coming up on six months and she couldn’t believe that it had been half a year since her and Presley had become parents. She looked at the clock as she moved out to the living room with their daughter “daddy is going to be home very soon baby girl!” she cooed as she sat down on the ground with her, grabbing a few of her toys to play with her. Hearing the keys in the door and seeing her boyfriend walk in she smiled just as their daughter turned to look at Presley, smiling wide when she saw him. “Someone is happy to see you!” she cheered as she jumped up to give him a kiss but stopped when he said he had something for her “baby…what is it?” she asked as she moved closer, reaching her hand for his arm but feeling something move beneath the jacket. She pulled it back to show the tiny pup. “Oh my gosh! She’s so small!” she reached out to take the puppy and held her close “can we keep her?”

Presley always found a way to make her feel better. He had a way with his words and she believed every word he said. She leaned into him as he continued to touch all over her. “I love my body because it gave us Cash, but you deserve the hot girl you fell in love with.” She mumbled as she pressed her lips to his jaw. “Thank you baby” a little giggle leaving her lips as he moved her to the bed. She let her hands snake up his shirt as he kissed her neck, a soft moan leaving her lips. When he pulled back and spoke she grinned before biting down on her bottom lip, reaching for her shirt to get rid of it quickly before tugging on her shorts. She enjoyed staying home with Cash, not having to wear much around the house it made moments like these easier.

She shrugged “you might be right.” Joey was positive after her last relationship she was never meant to be loved, he had drilled that into her head and she believed him. She didn’t think she’d ever be happy again, but then Presley came along. He was absolutely in love with her and she couldn’t believe she’d ever believed she couldn’t be loved. Joey cocked her head to the side and grinned as he pulled her out of their daughters room and into theirs. Bring in his tight grasp again was what she needed “i think we have plenty of time.” she mumbled before kissing him full of want and need. Her hands cupped his face, sliding her tongue along his bottom lip and then into his mouth. “Pres, I’m really not happy with how my body looks right now, can you just try to picture me before Cash? This baby fat isn’t hot.” She mumbled, pulling back slightly to look up at him with worried eyes.

“I have a feeling you’ve tried it but I’m the only one it worked on.” her eyebrow raising slightly. “Not that I’m mad it worked on me because I’m not at all. I officially have the hottest baby daddy on the island.” she teased while gripping at his shirt. Joey couldn’t imagine what her life would have been like if things went different that day. She’d never been so happy and knew that things were only going to get better from then on out. Joey loved Presley more than anything and now that they shared a daughter together there was some sort of magical connection. Feeling Presley pull her closer and trace her thigh she bit down own her lip. She’d missed his touch, since having Cash, Joey was still concerned with her body in ways she hadn’t before and she’d been so busy taking care of a newborn. It had built up and Joey wasn’t sure she couldn’t take it any longer. “Yeah?” she breathed, a hand coming to the back of his head as she pulled some of his hair gently.

“Hey, if I remember correctly i was the one who finally made the first move. You were scared to even ask me out, so you’re welcome for deciding i couldn’t wait to have you.” she smiled, it was amazing that all it took was her to invite him out and now they were holding their daughter in her nursery. Joey leaned down to kiss Cash’s forehead, rubbing her hair down as she admired the sleeping beauty. Joey never thought that she’d be a mom, didn’t think that would ever be in the cards for her but now it was the most important job she could imagine. “I know i could hold her all day.” she watched Presley set their sleeping daughter back into her crib, the brunette pushed a strand of hair behind her ear when he turned around. She couldn’t help the smile on her lips and the small giggle leave her lips as she rushed into his arms, jumping up slightly “I’ve gone all day without your arms around me and i hate it.” she groaned as she wrapped her arms around his neck “how was work?”

“It was fate throwing us together, with how many times I’d gone into that damn gas station it was bound to happen. One way or another we were meant to be together.” She smiled up at Presley, her heart was completely full. She had a man she loved and who loved her back and they had a perfect daughter. A little laugh left her lips “she’s your damn twin, i couldn’t pretend she’s not yours even if I wanted to.” Joey brushed the baby’s hair to the side, admiring the two loves of her life. “I know you have, I’m surprised you didn’t rip her out of my arms when you walked through the door.” a little laugh left her lips “that’s because you are a fucking truck, that’s one of the things i love about you.” she bit down on her bottom lip, rolling her eyes for a moment before repeating what she said “you are the best daddy, Cash and I are so lucky to have you.” A soft smile on her lips as she leaned up to kiss his lips softly.

“It’s scary to think we almost didn’t end up together. I mean i cant imagine not being with you and not having her. You’re my soulmate, i believe that.” Joey looked down at her when he said she was tiny, looking up at Presley with a wide grin “no way she’s your kid then, you’re huge.” she teased as she ran her finger along Cash’s cheek slowly. “I’ve been with her all day, you can hold her. I’m sure you missed her.” she smiled biting down on her bottom lip as she handed the baby over. “Hey that is not fair! if you tell her that I’ll have to tell her how to sweet talk you.” the brunette argued. She looked at his face, cupping his face in her hands “I’m sure his face looks worse. You can handle anything you put your mind to.” she whispered before leaning up to kiss him softly “thank you for being such a good daddy.”

Joey never wanted to put Cash down, she wanted to hold her forever. It amazed her that she was a mom now, it was a feeling she’d never get over. The brunette couldn’t help but smile at Presley’s words “she is perfect, everything about her is. I’m far from perfect now.” she chuckled as he kissed her cheek. Her body leaned against his, arms wrapped tightly around their daughter “i dont understand how we made something so perfect and beautiful. she could do no wrong, i swear.” she couldn’t stop her smile, turning her head slightly to look up at Presley, giving him a soft kiss. “I’m a little tired but she’s going to need to eat in about an hour and I’ve missed you.” she mumbled, one hand coming to rub his cheek as she turned his arms “how’s your face feeling today?” A

It felt as if her entire pregnancy flew by, she did her best to savor every moment of it all. Joey actually enjoyed being pregnant, watching her belly grow and feeling the kicks, they played music and constantly talked to their baby. Labor on the other hand was straight hell, lasting twenty hours and deciding to go the natural route, Joey cussed Presley out for most of it, swearing he’d never touch her again but knowing it wasn’t true. She’d cried tears of joy as he held her hand and they welcomed their daughter into the world, her cry was the best sound to her. That tiny baby completely stole her heart, she didn’t realize how much she could love another human being, a human being that was also part of the love of her life. Adjusting to a newborn baby at home was difficult at times, Joey dealt with a roller coaster of emotions, sleep was nonexistent and she smelt like baby puke more than 90 percent of the time.

Slowly things started to work out and a nice rhythm was set. Joey would do absolutely anything for Cash, she was constantly giving her kisses and singing to her, holding her tiny baby close because she knew all too fast she would grow up. It had been two months since they’d become a family of three and Joey couldn’t get enough of Presley and their daughter together, she’d wake up to find him walking around the room talking to her and most days she had to beg him to let her hold her. She knew the two had such an amazing bond and it only made her love for him grow.

Joey sat on their bed, Cash laid between her legs as the brunette babbled on and on about nothing, getting little coos and laughs from their dark haired daughter. “You are just the cutest thing i ever did see” she whispered as she pressed soft kisses around her face “how did i ever think i could live without you?” she looked up just as Presley walked into the room “hi handsome” she greeted with a smile.

Cash. Just the moment he found out he would be having a child he knew there was a new type of love that had instantly grown in him. One that was never ending for Joey... but something so unbreakable between the tiny baby growing each day and himself. Every moment he spent helping Joey through the pregnancy he never had second thoughts, he worked hard to make sure when his child arrived there wouldn’t be a moment where Joey or Presley wouldn’t know how to make it through a day. It meant more fights, nights where he really fought too much; but it was always worth it for his family. 

When he first saw his baby girl he knew nothing would ever stop him from protecting her. Cash was his entire world and every time he looked at her his heart swelled. He felt something so amazing, he was her father and he loved her so much. He spent so much time looking at Joey and Cash, knowing nothing would ever be able to break them away from him. He’d fight till his soul would give out for them. But as he leaned against the nursery door, watching Joey holding the small girl he couldn’t help but feel his emotions surface all over again. He slowly walked in and smiled. “Look at this, my two favorite girls. I couldn’t think of anything more amazing.” He came up behind Joey, sliding his hands around her waist and locking in front of her, pulling her against him. He easily looked over Joey’s shoulder. “My perfect girls.” He whispered kissing the side of Joey’s face. “Thank you for giving me the most perfect child there ever is, Joey.” 

Joey rolled her eyes “i dont doubt that fire but that also means our lives will be a little tougher, especially if they come out fighting. That means I’ve got two people to keep bandaged together.” she ran her hand over her still flat stomach, already finding a little comfort in that motion. “You could cancel the reservations but that wouldn’t be any fun. You can fuck me all night, i told you however you want me.” she smirked as she sat down at the table, looking around before grinning back at Presley “you get me damn close to the whole world and you’re all i want. I dont need anything, i just need you and our baby.” she reached her hand across and grabbed his “thank you, for this. thank you for loving me, thank you for giving me a baby.” she pushed a strand of her brown hair behind her ear and gave him a bright smile before looking down at the menu. She didn’t understand how she could love someone so much, be so consumed by them. Presley was her whole life.

“If this baby is picking up any bad behaviors it’s because of you.” she argued with a raise of her eyebrow “well thank god for reservations, teaching you a lesson and all. can’t have everything you want right when you want it.” she gave his side a soft nudge. “I’m gonna make sure we always have a reservation, that way we can get things done.” Joey smiled kindly at the staff as they showed them to their table. “Presley, baby this is perfect.” she grinned at the table and their view and then back to her favorite view, her boyfriend. “You’re the best for me you never fail to make me feel special.”
