hii hi hey . some traffic stuff but also just in general i believe that demons gears are like- quite literally, extenstions of their bodies, and i know canonically they can just pull it out from thin air or whatever the hell theyve decided or despawn it but i personally think that the further a demon is from their gear the more they feel kind of like a weird pressure or pulling that isnt so much painful as much as it is increasingly uncomfortable (though i guess it could evolve into pain) also gears like, repair or restock themselves using a demons energy or depending on the state of their health; take medkits for example, maybe its only ever got half a roll of gauze or something like that because he doesnt take care of himself all that being said, i think traffic has chronic pain because of his gear being stolen and god knows how damn far away its been taken; and uses weed to help ease it. (since that is a genuine use it has in the real world) hed be a stoner either way but hes got a reason for it!!!
