Just returned from my BSc thesis defense (and I'm so ashamed that after all those years on Eng/Ger languages I'm not quite sure how to say защита диплома correctly) and I happened to draw some Mary Poppins..es? Like, three of them: the Disney one, the Soviet one and the one I imagined while reading the book. I had a topic based on this very novel by Pamela Travers so YES I AM DEEPLY HYPERFIXATED ON FLYING NANNIES (and I'm a huge fan of the Soviet one because she's so much closer to her book version in terms of personality)

I can't believe I never posted these photos in young Shields! I made this costest/cosplay in January 2022 and I still like the way I look in it. Well, at least the head. Now I wish I had more money to buy clothes that look more like his ones, and a wig, so I don't have to cut my hair to be the right length.
