i dunno why but she looks weird for some reason. i can’t put my nose on it

backstory:

when yani and her twin brother, yael, were younger the twins hated each other! yani loved her mother more than yael ever could, but yael thought the same thing. the father didn’t like how the twins clung to his wife and not to him. jealousy spiraled through him, causing him to lash out on yael.

one afternoon, after the twins played in the backyard, they entered their house to silence. no mother and no father. yael told yani to stay in the house as he searched for their parents in town. yael came home beaten and refused to tell yani what happened. yael experienced abused before so he was tough enough to not let that dim him.

they soon had to live in the orphanage, where they thankfully had separate rooms. this is where they both met robin. robin was a bright guy who looked up to both of the twins. yani for being able to find excitement in thrills and yael for being able to take a punch without getting depressed.
